Parasite Identification Assistance
I am on the tenth day of a parasite cleanse (NutraCraft). I have changed my diet to accomodate best cleanse results (also, everything I eat is pureed). Starting tomorrow I will take a 10-day break (however i will be eating papaya seeds) and then get back to it again for another round of 10 days on the NutraCraft cleanse. The first 3 days I saw lots of tiny black specks in my stool. Right around the 3rd or 4th day I started seeing things that look like this picture. After four days of trying I finally convinced my doctor to give me labs to collect stool. Today is the second day of collection and this is what I have been seeing for the past six days. I was expecting worms, but not this. I'm guessing flukes? Maybe giardia? Does anyone recognize what this is? I have heard that testing is pretty unreliable even with live specimen (mine seam to be dead) so who knows what the test will come back with after I submit it.
