After inspecting and cleaning a leg lesion; I
coated it with Gentian Violet [crystal violet]
to see if it would discourage morg activty.
[the lesion has grown to over 10 mm in diameter]
GV is an old school antifungal. If there are fungi involved..they should be..discouraged.
Four hours pass; I inspect the now "purple crater" to
find it overgrown with fibers. One was about 10mm
tall. Odd to see it "dance" , but it was due to an
imperceptible draft . Covering the fiber with a glass
dish put an end to it's ...dancing.
