blood fil 100x 19sept09

filament of some kind in blood. have found them
dozens of times. this one appears to be coated
in white blood cells beating on it.
No stain. 100x mag. which means this beast is huge;
over a mm in length. I am constantly finding these.
[If they are real..how am i still breathing?] Are they
fungal form of candida prowling the blood? or..
something else..
