magnification 100x, no stain.
red critter seems to be a particular trouble maker..
when surveying skin damage...lesions on body..
very often seems to be a red rhizoid at the scene of
the crime...sometimes i see the red one before
the damage..sometimes af ter.
?maybe this pic is
of a "hyphal" form[left] morphing into the more aggressive "tunneling" rhizoid?
