I am trying to save significant findings for anyone studying this in the future..???? Who knows when we will get answers so I still try to gather pieces of the puzzle. I had fibers in my hair so I saved it...but when later going to put it in a plastic bag, there was new growth that looked like white balls or "nests" of fiber. There are several growing here but just chose the largest one to photograph. The following image shows this 'nest' of clear-white fiber in a higher resolution.
