Starting iodine when thyroid issues

Hi Mando here

Asking guidance , i recommended someone to start Iodine , as with real dosages and not silly RDI . I am myself familiar with iodine, currently at 50 mg daily . However this person says he`s thyroid stopped working earlyer, long time ago. I dont know details but it sounds as hypo to me.

So, to my best knowledge, starting Iodine protocol when have existing thyroid problem is okey right ? As long take also selenium and B-vitamins . Is this correct ?

Second question . So if person has thyroid issue allready , can you help me saying which way is the best/safest way to start to not cause any further thyroid problems ? My thinking is that start slowly , just few mg /day and let body get familiar with this essential element nice and slowly...few week ? Yes/No ?

Do you have any other recommendations ?
