I'm only a newbie flusher with only one flush under my belt. But it sounds like you might have a blood
Sugar problem. I have had the same hung-over problem in the morning that you speak of. Before learning of the flush (which I will be forever grateful for), I went on a quest to gain control of my health and tried numerous supplements. Some that I came across helped a lot with the groggy morning feeling. Here is my evening regemin of suppliments that works for me. It helps with my morning energy and helps to control my blood sugar. I take these at dinner time:
These are my most important:
- Lipoic Acid (300mg)
- Vitamin C (500mg)
- Vitamin E (600 I.U. in softgel form)
- CoQ10 (200mg in softgel form)
Additional things I benefit from:
- A good multi-vitamin
- A good B-complex
- Vitamin A (10,000 I.U.)
I also take various amino acids in the morning, like L-Methione, L-Cysteine, L-Taurine.
After exercising, if I feel exausted, I'll take 5 grams
of L-Glutamine for an incredible rush of energy. I suspect
that as my body gets more and more in control and
better at metabolizing things, I will probably be able
to drop some of the amino acids.
Out of everything, the top four I listed were the most
beneficial to me.
If you haven't already, you might want to pay attention to the
Sugar content of what you eat and how that affects how you feel. Even if you don't eat classic sweets, lots of food have sugar.
