This life requires that we respond to the different challenges as they come upon us... Many are just momentary day to day decisions, while others are life and death matters!! The importance may differ, but the required response is the same...

Satori was practiced by the ancient Japanese Samaria warriors... The concept of Satori occurs when a warrior's attention rest in the present state...  It is then that the body is relaxed, alert and the emotional state is free of concerns... Satori is actually the state of a Spirit Warrior's being...

It is from this state of being that a warrior can respond to what ever activity they engage in!!  This can be used to day in any physical activity; dance, music, work, or any sport... Like with so many things in life; the warrior must learn to be at one with the activity or state of their being!! This is called a moment of truth!!

It is just like the description by Ernest Hemingway; about the Bull Fighter; once he is in the ring and the Bull is there and looking to charge him...  Above all the cheering crowd, standing in his suit of "Light"; he stands and stares at the huge angry bull set to run him down...  It is at that moment that he dismisses all else, except for the Bull, and it is during this time that is his "Moment of Truth"...

This is the total concentration, that now controls the warrior in this moment of truth!! This comes from the training the body; by focus of the mind and learn to be free of emotions... Athletes usually develop this state during their actives; but most fail to expand this into their daily lives...  This is the main task of the Spirit Warrior, to make Satori an everyday reality!! You do this day by day one step at a time!!  That is how it works...

Remember the true force of any of the martial arts is to teach nonresistance!! Never struggle with anyone or anything join the power of Nature!! Let your motions come naturally do not struggle... Just remember every moment Satori...  Do your best in all things, don't mind the outcome; let GOD handle the rest of your life!!

This should be the way of a Spirit Warrior!!  Learn to concentrate; and focus so your efforts are free of emotions...  Then remember the moment of truth...  Then leave the rest to GOD!!

See Ya... Kermit
