What happens does not always follow the script, but then only Hollywood and novels have a script, life does not.....

Well it is over due the continued saga of my travels... Some people have said did this really happen to you?? The answer is of course, you don't think I could just make this up do you??? The truth will be told, and I must not lie...
We left off as best I can remember, Jr. High School; a wonderful time if I had known then what I know now... Oh well so it goes, I had as you remember, moved around quite a lot during my youngest years.... Born in GA, then AL, then GA, FL, GA, FL, GA and finally in the fifth grade ST Pete FL..... til the Navy at Age 19....
My mother had remarried, and my step father always had a boat... Mainly outboard motor boats, of varying types... So I became a maritime person... Learning how to handle small boats, some racing in outboard hydro planes...
Well we fished a lot and swam even more... Did some water skiing and skin diving... Life was a breeze or a blur don't remember which for sure... Well Florida and boats went together and I learned a lot in those days...
High school could have been fun, but my stepfather who had not got past the eighth grade, did not see why my younger brother and I needed to either... So his idea was that we have jobs, not what kind but just some jobs... Well he felt homework was a waste of time and a waste of electricity.... needless to say did not get to do much homework, and it showed in my overall grade point average... For High School was 1.89... Which is a D+.... Florida used to give a senior placement test, which compared all the seniors in the state as to what they had learned during the 12 years of school.... I placed in the upper (1/5 ) one fifth in the entire state... My guidance councilor said " this shows that you far exceeded what your grade point show, and mastered the material..." Then upon taking the Navy test placed it the top grade, and was recommended for advanced technical training, which is the rate I went into, electronics....
I was not a big social buff in high school, did get along and had some friends, never got to spend much time with the girls at school.... I talked to some of the girls in class, met some in a couple of clubs and at MYF on weekends, but never really had any dates or girl friends.... Some of this info is back a few chapters, if you want to refresh...
After getting a car, at 16, had the only wreck of my life at 18, was where some "Igmo" ran into me crossing a wet brick street in St Pete.... I almost got across the street, he just barely caught me just behind the right rear wheel, spinning my car 180 degrees around... No injury!!
Florida Financial Responsibility law at that time required me to post a $10K bond or suspend my license for three years.. DUH... I was going into the Navy so suspend my license and see what Ii care..... Then after getting to my first duty station went and got a US Government drivers license, and drove all over the world... Goes to show you; you never know what life is going to put in your path...
There are several things we can cover during this period; and will elaborate on these later stay tuned... These are different, from any you have most likely heard I am sure....
