Technology can help, if you watch it...

Well here we are again; looking for the truth.... People go thru life, fat, dumb and happy.... The first two are most correct in describing many of us today...
Happy is a state of mind, you can be as happy as you think you are.....

What continues to baffle me is the way many people, go thru life, not knowing what is going on around them, and do not really care.... Sad, sad....
I was born dirt poor, is south Georgia, during (WWII)... We did not have anything so to speak, but we were happy... My father was gone most (90%) of the time, and never picked up the "work ethic", so one day the Shierff came and picked up our 1948 (almost new)Ford, I ask Mom why, she replyed " Because your Dad did not pay for it...." That made an impression on me, I did not want that to happen again, and it never has to this day ..... Life has a way of wakeing some folks up now and then...

I was introduced to computers, when I joined the US Navy.... Big hanking shipboard billistic computers.... Went on to college and became an Electrical Engineer... So I know what technology can do... Technology is great when it works correctly... But even with all the Tech Stuff some times you still have to go look out the door, because you can't always beleive the instruments...
So let be positive and do some leg work so you do not get caught sitting around FDH or "Fat, Dumb and Happy" when the ship runs aground on some rocks the Radar & chart said were "not there"..... Stop, look and listen, so you will not have to answer the question " What were you doing when it happened??" What ever can happen, will happen, and usually does when you least expect it.....
Guess I picked up the work ethic gene.... Thank GOD, for that blessing....
