brief thought about fasting

It occured to me that I've not shut my mouth to fast in years. I managed to fast once for three days on fruit smoothies at work. That was ten years ago. I know that fasting would be good for me but I don't do it. Why is that? Not that I've made a concerted effort and put my will into doing such a thing. I guess I just answered my own question.
