I like to receive these weekly Meditations from
Rabbi Ted Falcon. He is user friendly for
people of all Traditions and Spiritualities.
You can sign up if you want to get these
little nuggets.

Rabbi Ted wrote the book
"A Journey of Awakening"
Kabbalistic Meditations
on the Tree of LIfe.

I have many blogs on that.

Enchanted Gardener Joy sent this to me
today.

Chanukah meditation

I wanted you to have this while our Chanukkah Lights are still bringing additional illumination to us and to our world. Even though the holiday has already begun/ended, it's never too late for more Light.

Our world is in need of illumination, and each of us is responsible for channeling that energy of blessing. For your own sake, and for all of our sakes, allow the candles of Chanukkah to help you bring your Light through to your lives and to the world we share. Chanukkah" means dedication. Take these days to dedicate yourselves to your own growing.

Engaging Your Fuller Vision: A Process and a Practice

You are always connected to deeper levels of awareness. These deeper levels contain all the information you need to take your next step. Give yourself some time this week to invite fuller visions of the self you really are and of the life you wish to live. Here is a simple process which may help you discover and realize your higher visions for the coming year.

Get quiet and sit with a notebook.
Try silently and gently repeating, "I am now available to receive my own fuller visions."
And then, "I am available now. I receive gifts of direction from my Greater Self."

You are creating the space in which visions of your fuller self may find you. Imagine them. Flesh them out in your imagination. What do you look like? What are you doing? How are you feeling? Get images as clearly as possible in the moment. If appropriate, make notes of ideas, images, and feelings that occur to you.

Step into the world of your own imagination. Illuminate that world. Pretend that it is real and experience it from the inside. Feel the Light of Chanukkah surrounding, supporting, and filling that world, that reality.

Again, allow yourself to step into the "new" world, the "fuller" self, and feel that Light surrounding you. You are in the world that is held in that Light.

Practice this until you feel it. Each practice session is complete when you are able to feel the feeling you seek to experience in your greater vision. Feel it.

Say "Amen." It is so.

Practice this process. Your vision may well expand as you do so. Let your fuller vision draw you naturally into the greater experience and expression of the integrity of your own being.

Here is the process simplified:
Let your higher visions find you.
Flesh them out in your imagination.
Experience feeling that vision as real now.
Hold the image in the special Light of Chanukkah.
Feel that Light supporting you in that image.
Say, "Amen."

May each of us bring forth fuller blessing with which to nourish ourselves, our communities, our cities, and our world. And may this be a year of special Light for us all.

Blessings,
Ted
