Thank you, Liora, for this very kind and humane blog.

I see why you are so beloved and trusted by the animals
at the El Dorado Nature Center. You are such a kind
hearted, sensitive person.
Thank you for pointing out how significant a pet
can be to human health, and how wounded we can be
by the loss of our loved ones who are embodied in pets.
Love is Love.
The bond between a human and an animal,
especially a pet is unbelieveably strong.
In the old days of the Mandala Conference,
I remember one of the pioneers of Holistic/Intuitutive
medicine, one of the early Kirlean Photo people,
(sorry, I forget her name right now.)
showing energetic photos of how even AFTER
the body of a PET DEPARTED the little SPIRIT of
LOVE between the HUMAN and the ANIMAL still was ALIVE!
Photography, in the hands of some, can capture paranormal
activity. In these photos you could see the energies of the animals
still around their owners. The bond of Love was that great!
Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, the 20th Century Essene Renaissance pioneer,
has a book among his many writings about dogs. He was a big
Lover of his dog.
When I was a kid, I visited the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.
They had some acknowledgements in there to famous pets who had
played major roles in saving human lives in the history of our nation.
Any little thing we can do to create a more enlightened
sensitive world helps.
Making plans to care for our pets in times of disaster
is a very loving gesture toward life.
