I went out tonight to a spiritual gather and reseeding Lettuce intended to bring the children of Abraham togther in Peace.

It is 1203 midnight July 8. 05 in the History of Peace on Earth I just came in from a night on the Town so to speak, or moreso a spiritual gathering at the Seaside Church of Religious Science where some Minister allies and old minister friends were among those gathered to Promo a Big event coming this October. The event is called "Walk of Sacred Action A Living Pilgrimage," October 3-7 2005 at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs. Visit http//www.agnt.org for more details. The Conference October 3-7 aims to draw attention to an upcoming pilgrimage from Syria to Isreal designed to retrace the historical steps of Abraham, the father of the thee faiths of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Years ago, I grew a lettuce called Abraham's New Seed. This lettuce lived in a pot, and traveled with me one Passover Easter season, where it gave up some leaves for lunch at the home of my Orthodox Jewish Father, as well as was a welcome visitor to Easter dinner at the home of my girlfriend at the time; she was a former Catholic, currently Pagan delightful woman. We met because of a poem "My Goddess Prayer for You." I do believe she read it at a gathering of Woman's Spirituality and took aninterest in its author, who happened to be me. And thus are relationship began. As the story went, I wanted to take my friend for Passover to the home of my Hassidic distant relations who lived in LA. I was offended because they welcomes me, but not her. I felt so offended by this fundamentalist attitude that I dedicated that the Seed of that lettuce to Abraham that it's inspiration would being all the nations of the world together. "Lettuce Grow Together" was the intention. After than Spring event, I took the lettuce home and nurtured it until it went to seed. The seeds were dedicated to world peace and I called them Abraham's New Seed. I carried forward the generations of that seed for numbers of years, until around the time that the Gulf War broke out, I lost its lineage to some poor seed storage management. Tonight, in honor of the spirit of this gathering, I felt it would be a good time to rededicate lettuce Seed to the same intention, and so I headed to this event with two packets of Mesclun Salad Mix and a pot of soil, topped with some biodynamic compost from Tierra Miguel CSA. I had a bunch of flyers from the upcoming Feng Shui Conference with me as well as The Light Connection for July where we had two stores and a full page color ad about our event. After a full day of work on the conference, and quite sleep deprived, I was one of the last cars to arrive for the event. There was no parking whatsoever, other than a spot right in front of the front door that seemed to have been conveniently left open for the EG Mobile and its Divine Mission. There was a host of speakers from the New Thought Movement. I was running my stuff and thought to leave a couple times, but I wanted to see Reverend Kathy Hearn who once had a very popular New Thought Church in San Diego. Before she retired from that post more than 1000 would attend her services. Years before, I gave a talk at her Church when it only had about 25 members. The other ministers I wanted to see where Rev Dr. Michael Bechwith and his wife Rickie Byers Bechwith, who are both very kind and loving. Rev Michael and Richie head the Agape Church in the LA area, a real hoot of a Concsciousness raising experience. I was processing a lot of isolation type feelings, and doing some comparing between their event and our upcoming event in one month. I knew there would be some people to meet here and tell about the Feng Shui Conference, and I wanted to plant those New Abraham Seeds. Finally while Richie was singing, my energy shifted and I tore open the lettuce envelope and scattered the seeds on top of the soil. During the finale Rickie was singing. I made my way up to the stage and touched set it down on it. Thereone was singing "I let go and I let God," a wonderful New Thought tune written by Rickie, I believe. I took a couple photos. Then as the event ended I came to life in the energy of the outer hall as everyone was miling around. I found Rickie Byers Bechwith first. She was in the middle of a conversation, and I took a step backward as not to intrude my energy. Rickie saw me standing here at her side though she did not look my way. She reached out and touched me while she was talking to the other person. This felt comforting. Then, she turned to me and called me by my name. I was happy to be remembered. IT has been a year since I last saw her. In one sound bite of about ten seconds, I explained that these were Abraham's new seeds, and asked for her blessing on them. She did so. Then She went on to another conversation, but I held my ground. I wanted a photo. She complied with my request, and thanked me for my consciousness. Next I found Kathy Hearn, who I have not seen in many years. Again it was sweet to be remembered. We both were part of San Diego in the days when I was playing more active roles in creating community events. Once she had allowed me to do an event in her Church in honor of the December 30th World Peace Meditation that happens yearly. That must have been in the early 80's. Today she travels widely. When I approached, she called me by my name and said she had seen my photo in The Light Connection this month. That made me feel good. I have not seen her for many years. It felt really good to see her again. We were once very close allies during more innocent times in San Diego when I last was very involved. Hmm...now I see...this is the beginning of a similar new cycle... starting with the Feng Shui event....the event will influence San Diego at large...and so it is... She gave the seeds a second blessing--very pure and very deep. My third Blessing came with Rev Michael, who is a profoundly bright light of spiritual consciousness. I met him originally through my connection with Mark Victor Hansen where he gave the closing Blessing. He has one of the largest New Thought Churches in the LA area. He is quite familar with the work I do. Every time we see each other, I know the door is open and that one day, we will do an event together. I explained about Abrahams New Seeds, and he gave a third blessing. I took that photo. "This is Abraham's New Seed, and from its lettuce will come the food to bring the world together. I will see that you have some of its leaf for Lunch in October, I told him." "Yes," said Reverend Michael. We will do a ritual then." From there I spend about an hour connecting with others in the hall at the Church. Lots of folks were there who can help bring the Feng Shui event alive. It was nurturing leaving my world of my limited thoughts for a moment and stepping in another consciousness where everything I see looks so very different. I was the last to leave the parking lot. The space I found had a sign nearby that said Reserved for Speaker. I left saw it when I pulled up. your eg photos soon...
