Bringing God Home.. What would it be like if we allowed God to enter our Physical world?

I am standing outside of Whole Foods
about the get in the EG Mobile
and suddenly I see a car pull by
with a woman driving who reminds me
of one of my Jewish Renewal Friends
in San Diego.
Then it dawns on me.
She is more the Vons type.
She connects with God
on the upper levels of the Tree
but really doesn't take the journey
of bringing God home into the lower
physical levels.
This is my issue with the Orthodox
Jews. They are so profounding God
centered in the upper levels of their head
but don't connect that there is anything
ungodlike with with the sweetnest little
girls running around the Temple with
sucker sticts hanging from their mouths
that the old men have given the children.
I had this cynical thought that maybe
this was part of their Support Your Local Dentist
Campaign with all the cavities the kids can get.
Then, they wonder why the kids are
hooping and hollering in a pack and cannot
sit still while the Rabbi speaks.
They are all sugared out.
God for them
has no bearing here in their cracked up world
of the Tree of Life as it comes into the physical.
I wonder what it would look like if we let God
come home into the physical?
I imagine our world would be very gardenlike,
very demonstrative of Eden with all kinds of fruit bearing trees
and meditative spots and homes for birds and bees
and lots of fertile soil to grow more paradise.
but then, the whole world would be pregant of God.
Who wants to deal with all that Godly Lust
and all the unprocessed issues that stand between us
and that?
There is a chart that Dr. Jensen has in one of his books
called You Can Master Disease.
It shows the Tree of Life but on all the branches
are the different addictive substances that we choose
that block and clog our narrow places so we do not
feel God, so that we do not Bring God Home.
It is so much easier to eat a white flour Bagel
and not feel the guts of all these energies
that ask for personal growth.
Many of us spend our time
having our minds consumed by
the diseases we make up because
we do not allow God home here in the physical
but who am I to speak, I do the same.
Your Enchanted Gardener,
Leslie
