One Step at a Time by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Some tree trimming was done. I feel disappointed that for $325 I cannot see more change. I am working with my attitude.

It is 5:48 PM
Monday May 16.

Jesus and his crew came by and trimmed
all the dead stuff off the enormous palm Tree.
$200.00

Then he cut back some pepper tree blocking
the light from the avocado tree and Ceramoya.

He threw in some trimming from around the
the orange tree that felt encroached.
$125.00

That is a lot of money for me
out of a budget from roommates
who either choose to do work or pay a higher rent
at our community.

I feel some disappointment because
what they did feels like just a drop in the bucket
of what needs to be done.

Tzi is in the back now doing some weed wacking.

The Elijah Jewish Renewal Minyan is coming over
this Saturday.

We made some major strides of clearning the area
where they will meet.

I want to go out and talk to Tzi about reevaluating my
attitude.

I need to accept how much time it is going to take
to get the place looking loved.

I need to adjust to allowing all the steps to be appreciated,
and the organic flow of cutting, trimming, putting the cans
either into the compost area, burning some in the fire place,
and having some carted off.

IT is a flow.
I need to get in that flow
and enjoy the whole process.

IT was interesting to see how the weather changed
as soon as we started to trim the trees.

Here is another Garden Lesson:
Whatever we grow, asks energy.
We had better be conscious about what we plant in the
garden of our lives.
One of the trees that cost to get rid of was
planted by mistake. I thought it was a neem tree.
It was a pepper tree.
I could have avoided this expense if I had taken it out
when it was tiny.
