Mind Science: Its power and its limits. Where does tending the soil fit in?

Dr. Jensen wrote a book called
Empty Harvest.

It speaks to the crisis in top soil.

To you realize that we grow
and that our food grows from the few inches
of soil on top where we have a chance
to build up the nutrients?

Once our nation had top soil
that was very thick.

Now, thanks to chemical fertilizers
and industrialization, we are in a crisis
of topsoil.

Organic growing of food is labor intensive.
That is why it costs more.

The very process of building up the soil
is essential. The better the soil, the more
possible that human potential will be realized
because we are being feed trace minerals
that are chemically and electrically alive
and can draw in the Soul.

We are disconnected from our deeper energies.
This is because, the ground of our being is
not being fed.

Mind science is wonderful.
Controlling and making conscious decisions
about what we let in and how we master this
incredible gift of a mind is makes powerful good sense.

One of the masters of this Science of Mind
was a man named Ernest Holmes.
Amazing gifts were given to the world by him.
He taught us how to work the mind.
He taught us a lot about the power of intention
and affirmation.

Dr. Bernard Jensen, in him many researches
into health, knew Ernest Holmes.

One of my favorite stories that Jensen would tell,
was about how Ernest Holmes smoked cigars
and ate a lot of junk food including donuts.
Holmes thought we were all mind, so what difference did it make
what health habits we followed?

Jensen told him otherwise.

He did an experiment.
He told Holmes to go on a diet of donuts alone.
Holmes became ill.

Jensen believed we were more than Mind.
Jensen, of course, was a tremendous believer
in the power of Mind.

One of his chapters in Nature has a Remedy is
called Mind is the Mover, I recall.

But, jensen believed in a more wholistic approach to life,
one more akin to an Essene understanding of the
Tree of Life, and the acceptance that we are all of one piece--
Soul, Mind, Body--with a lot of emotion having something
to do with it.

Body asks feeding.
Body asks that their be Divine Order in our Soil.

The Essene School of Though teaches,
Mind is a byproduct of the Soul on the earth plane.

Soul is in perfection.
Soul is the individuality we each are in God.

But to bring the Soul here in the Body asks that the Earth
itself be cultivated in a Soulful way.

Organically living and eating are steps in the right direction,
but not all there is to it.

We are each asked to be as the Gardener.
We are each asked to do something with the earth literally.

I teach that the Earth, and earth, and are Soul, are soilmates.

Start small.
One pot. Get some soil and see learn how to build it up.
Your Mind will be happy.
