What Soul Mates Do

I am dancing with Lover.
Our bodies fit each other.
She is a little smaller in height.
I love the way she moves.
I love the way her hips connect
to her legs and to mine.
She is more than one person.
She is the Gemini Twins.
Now we are Soul Mates.

What do Soul Mates do?

There was a time I had a defective
lock on my Mac,
one of those combination
things with a long cord.
It broke. I could not get it off
for the life of me.
The company said saw it,
but be of upmost care
not to hurt your Mac.

I let it be.

One night Lover
invited me over.
We danced our music
with clothes on and off.
We were playful.
We shared body fluids.

In the morning I let her rest.
I went into the other room to write.
I was deep into it.
Then I noticed
the lock was gone.
It opened by itself.

That is what Soul Mates do.
