Can we be one with Rodents?

Is it possible to still live in harmony with Rodents
in this day and age?

Have we Gotten so civilized that we are at war
not only within ourselves but with all the other little animals
that live with us?

In this favorite paragraph from the Henry David Thoreau
he describes a harmonious relationship with a Mouse.

There is a story I heard in the Essene School of Thought
Library Channelings that talks about their agricultural practices.

IT is said that the Essenes lives so in harmony with all life
that they had a harmonious relationship even with Rodents.
They would attach twine to the tail of some kind of Rodent
and the little beasties would create a system of underground tunnels
through the garden that were later used for watering...kinda like
an underground pipe system.

Have we completely lost our connection to the other life forms
that we have to kill them off when they invade our domains?

Is it possible to ask them to do and not do certain things?

What does it mean when Mice invade your home?

They are invading ours now.

Here is Thoreau's experience
at Walden Pond where he lived a simple life:



"The mice which haunted my house were not the common ones, which are said to have been introduced into the country, but a wild native kind not found in the village. I sent one to a distinguished naturalist, and it interested him much. When I was building, one of these had its nest underneath the house, and before I had laid the second floor, and swept out the shavings, would come out regularly at lunch time and pick up the crumbs at my feet. It probably had never seen a man before; and it soon became quite familiar, and would run over my shoes and up my clothes. It could readily ascend the sides of the room by short impulses, like a squirrel, which it resembled in its motions. At length, as I leaned with my elbow on the bench one day, it ran up my clothes, and along my sleeve, and round and round the paper which held my dinner, while I kept the latter close, and dodged and played at bopeep with it; and when at last I held still a piece of cheese between my thumb and finger, it came and nibbled it, sitting in my hand, and afterward cleaned its face and paws, like a fly, and walked away"

I was a student at UCLA in
1969. I was there for one year.
That was the year, the M.D. finally came up
with a name for my condition which was now
called arthritis, Anglyosin Spondylitis.

IT took them 10 years to name it,
and then drug me and give me crutches.

An iridologist might have seen it 9 years before developing,
but I did not meet Bernard Jensen until 1972.

The one A grade I got on a paper at UCLA
was about this paragraph.

It was called Thoreau's Mouse.
