Today I thought about my place in the universe as I walked to my father-in-law's house. First of all, I was thinking about my place in the universe as I walked into the kitchen to pack the dishwasher.
Why am I here?
Why am I doing this thing...walking into the kitchen with dirty dishes, etc? I was listening to Joe Rogan's podcast with Tom Bilyeu, and the topic was AI...artifical intelligence. It got me thinking about my own brain and intelligence and my n=1 experimentation with biohacking and memory improvements.
Before that, I was so tired from working 12hr shifts, riding my bicycle to work, transitioning to a paleo diet, I slept 12hrs. It was a necessary 12hrs where my body needed the break from being assaulted by the sensory, phsyical and also NON-PHYSICAL aspects of my job as a nurse. I didn't want to go upstairs to clean my prayer closet, wash my statues, kneel down and chant...I chose to read in the couch and got tired enough to sleep last night. I chanted my mantra in the couch till I felt asleep! The chant reached deep. I worked on my memory palaces whenever I woke up, but I pretty much slept all night and slept on the couch in the morning, again, choosing self care over walking the dog, chanting, cleaning this and that.
I barely went on Face Book, and chose to write in silence. The question of the day for me was this question of time and place in the Universe. As I was walking today, I said to myself, I'm okay with being a nobody, I'm okay with just living my life then dying and not doing something. I am truly content enough to live life in relative solitude.
Now I'm going up to the prayer closet to do chi gong, meditate. If I get any communication with non-physical, I will certainly tell you. It is now time to hack the matrix ;-)
