Keeping a journal has become a chore for me years ago for some reason, and I surely have been having a load of time and motivation problems with this blog, too. I'll try to make a little summary here.
Nothing overly exciting or important to report has happened. I have been consuming the same kind of juices as before, just as little as before. I've been very occupied with Pokémon Go, I must admit, and I've gotten plenty of (light) exercise even for my normal weekly routine let alone during a fast. Cold hands and feet have disappeared, but I'm still somewhat disconnected from my head, in the good way. I have had a few relatively short moments of being emotional, but funnily enough the very important things haven't really moved me - say, I smashed the screen in my phone, and all I said was "oh, I've never broken my screen before". In reality it's a disaster since I'll be unable to get a new phone for maybe another couple of years, but right now I don't seem to care. I'm a bit absent-minded and clumsy, but since this is a huge improvement compared to what a wreck I've been for years, I can't complain.
I did decide 12 days would be a good amount for this fast. Sure, 14 would be two full weeks, but I really have no reason to obsess about numbers. I feel 12 is just good, and it gives about three weeks time to get back to healthy solids until my boyfriend's birthday (and mine two weeks after that) so I'll be able to celebrate and actually enjoy some nice food. The past few days have been easy really, there haven't really been any issues at all. I've had an enema only twice during this time but it's been ok, it's just such a hassle performing it and I've grown tired of the whole procedure. Because tired is exactly what it makes me, I'm physically rather exhausted afterwards although there's no obvious reason for feeling so. Apart from that I haven't been too hungry, cold, upset, craving or nauseous - but I've had the hiccups three times now. It's somehow related to this fast.
In all honesty I don't have much to tell about right now since I can't really remember anything that has happened! This is typical for me, and that's one reason I know I should write in here daily, but it's my loss now. I'll add in things later if I remember something noteworthy, otherwise I'm looking forward to tomorrow, the second last day and being nearly over and done with not eating.
