A lot of exercise today, but feeling better than on the 3rd day generally. Feel free to comment!

I'm writing this on day 4 of the fast as yesterday was too busy until late in the evening to concentrate on writing. So yesterday I and my boyfriend went picking bilberries (small blueberries) in the woods a short way away. I had hot water with lemon in the morning and some veggie broth from the day before. I was relatively tired and felt it in my body yet we thought berry picking would be a good combination of relatively light exercise and utilizing the season and filling the freezer with something to put in my smoothies later on during the year. I'm not quite sure how long a trip we made, but it sure involved a lot of climbing, and we spend three and a half hours in the forest! The day was beautiful and the time almost flew by, but I did feel I was working out a bit hard taking into consideration this was the third and commonly known as the potentially most difficult day in fasting. The berries weren't waiting for us right by the common paths, though, so we needed to make that extra effort. With the power of store-bought diluted fruit smoothie (yes, a bit of a cheat, but there was no pulp included and nothing was added or processed) and mildly diluted cranberry juice I managed to distribute my energy sufficiently. Back home I had a can of young coconut water as a recovery drink, and indeed I feel like I recovered from a hard day surprisingly well.
I might have been in a bit of an overdrive mode, meaning not realizing my current state of energy levels, as I found it a bit hard winding down and getting to sleep in the evening. I had a little bit of broth in the evening and later s big container of cucumber juice. It is quite little for one day, though, yet I still wasn't hungry. I don't know what to make of that - perhaps my body is just really happy to cleanse? All in all I'm glad my boyfriend is around supporting me, he's quite good at it. He made chutney out of the apple and cucumber pulp I created, that was funny and made me feel like my fasting could be a little useful for him, too!
Yesterday I remembered the need for an enema too late, and decided to leave it until morning. That's all about day 3 I think, keeping busy really makes telling about a day so much easier... as it does not focusing too much on not eating, which is positive in my books.
