Health - finding ways to strengthen our inner life first

Our public education system is not capable of enlightening individuals as to their own self healing capacity. Consequently we are conditioned by the ways of the world, most largely commerce, to look outside ourselves for our "remedies". Yet the truth of life remains within us waiting for our discovery. It is our own life force that does the healing! And we can magnify the force within us largely by our focusing within.

"To maintain and improve your health, begin by focusing on what is alive within you, and strengthen that. You need to understand that living elements alone can counteract illness. Supposing you have an abscess or a wound. If the living entities in your system that are capable of closing the wound or getting rid of the impurities in the abscess are chloroformed because of the disorderly nature of your life, the abscess or wound will become septic. You can use all the disinfectants, ointments and dressings you like, but if the entities do not have the conditions in which to do their work properly, the external remedies will remain ineffectual. If, on the other hand, your inner workers can work unhindered, even if there is no external intervention from anything or anyone, they will cure everything. It is clear then that you should change your attitude to health, and consider every way possible of intensifying the life within you."[1]

Although the following comes from the teachings of Omraam I'm linking his "Thought" here instead of in the earlier post of 4/7/2015 that I had devoted to his "meditations".

"...Initiatic Science, which has studied the psychic anatomy of human beings and the rules governing its workings, teaches us that we can give commands to make the cells of our organs obey us. But we have first to accept the idea that they are intelligent, conscious beings and learn to communicate with them through our thoughts by sending them rays of light and love."[2]

You can communicate with all that is alive within you including your genes.
