The energies of the Holy Days are upon us. Chanukah starts this week, melding into the energies of the Winter Solstice, then Christmas, Kwanza, and the New Year 2015. In the light of these energies, Spirit speaks to me of human suffering and tragedy, and an evolving human consciousness upon Earth.

This is a self-channeling. I sit down and ask the question "Spirit, what am I to know this day?", then "take dictation", writing down what I hear in my head. Please know that this is a co-creation between Spirit and myself, and as such it is not to be seen as 100% accurate, as the energies of Spirit have to be "translated" by my human mind, and as with all translation, something is always "lost in translation" during the process. As always, the answer starts out personal, then shifts to the global, and so I am sharing it with you, dear reader. Whenever you see the word "you", that means YOU individually and us HUMANS collectively.

Q: Spirit, what am I to know this day?

A: Know that you are Loved! We know you don't always believe us. WE DO LOVE YOU, no matter what! As to "life is hard" and "it's hard to be human"--YES, there is no denying, never was denying, never will be denying of this. As to the "why" of it, that has always been the mystery, has it not?

"Why is there suffering?" "Why is there pain?" "What is the purpose of human tragedy?"

You will not be satisfied with a simple answer, you are already gut-clenching with the response in your head--write it down--"to rise above".

Humans have a beautiful, wonderous capacity to rise above tragedy, to not only survive but thrive (to borrow your friend's term) and so to transmute the energy of the tragedy into one of compassion, change, growth. Of course this is not always the outcome, yet the opportunity for this is always there. You know the examples--a poor boy grows up, becomes financially successful, then launches a charity to help the poor youth of his childhood neighborhood; a tsunami kills 250,000 people and world-wide compassion is generated; a woman's child is killed by a drunk driver and she founds an organization to help educate youth about the hazards of alcohol--the examples go on and on. Oftentimes, not always, tragedy and suffering bring out the best in human hearts: after the initial shock and grief, a call to action is sometimes made--a mass movement demanding peace instead of war; a mass movement demanding equality and justice instead of hate and prejudice. It can be a change on the "group consciousness" level or on an individual level--a bereaved parent's heart softens, is more open to love and compassion; a person who was formerly only interested in material acquisition begins a spiritual journey to the Divine...there are too many examples to cite.

Tragedy and suffering act as catalysts to generate compassion, change and growth--painful, yes--but it is in "human nature" to be repetitious and not make changes if one is content with what is. How many people would take a path of spiritual change and growth if they did not have a compelling reason to do so? Most would be complacent with their lives. Most are. The ones spurred to "wake up" are those who are "sensitive" to the sufferings of humanity and the Earth--either experiencing personal loss and grief or witnessing and seeing it in humanity in general. We knew you would not be "happy" with this response.

It is as the Kryon+ says--human love and compassion change the energetics of the planet, go into the Earth Herself, and then human consciousness as a whole evolves, slowly--for humans and the Earth are connected, as One. Humans truly are the "interface" between the Divine and Earth. Your bodies are born of Earth; your bodies return to the Earth upon biolgicial death and decay into the Earth as all biological matter does. Your God-spark, or Soul, belongs to the All-That-Is, the Divine. You truly are creatures of both realms--the spiritual and the material. That is your role as HUMANS, to carry the energies of the Divine and the material simultaneously, to be the Living Bridge between the Divine and the Earth. Humans have been "unconscious" for most of humanity's existence; as human consciousness evolves humanity will more readily be able to traverse the realm of the Divine consciously, thereby becoming multidimensional while still remaining biological beings.

Can you imagine what this will mean for Earth? Since the energetics of human thoughts/emotions/words/actions affect the very planet upon which you walk, as humanity collectively evolves its consciousness Gaia Herself evolves into an enlightened planet, which in turn prompts greater and swifter evolvement of human consciousness, and it becomes an exponential spiral, a dance. Humanity is on the cusp of these changes RIGHT NOW. It takes but a few humans* to "get the ball rolling", and once the "ball is rolling" there is NO stopping it. Even the humans who foment violence and mayhem on the planet will be affected by it; they will be given an opportunity to change and grow (individual free choice) in response to the changing energetics of the planet, or they will perish by the same energies of violence they are generating. "Harsh" as this sounds, remember, they too will incarnate once again on the planet in their "next lifetime" and once again have choices to make as individuals regarding in which energies they will participate. That is why there is no judgment, no "hell" for punishment and no "heaven" for reward, on the "Other side of the Veil" for even those who foment mayhem, war, violence are playing their parts, their "roles" in the grand scheme of things.

Remember we said that tragedy acts as a "catalyst" for compassion, change and growth...then, too, the "energies of density" (war, hatred, violence) act as a catalyst for the "energies of lightness" (love, tolerance, compassion) to marshall its collective force and prevail. When one hears stories of Angels of Light having a "war" with Angels of Darkness, there is no "spiritual realm" where this is taking place in some other "dimension" beyond human awareness--it is a metaphor for humans who are Angelic BEings housed in biological bodies to work the energies of the planet with the goal of creating BALANCE. The "energies of lightness" do not "kill" the "energies of density"--there is NO WAR between "GOOD" and "EVIL" for these are human concepts. There is a goal of creating a BALANCE OF ENERGIES on the planet, and with this balance comes the elevated consciousness of humanity. When humans obtain, collectively, an elevated consciousness, they will look at human actions of war, violence, hatred as being abhorent, and these actions will cease. It is a natural evolution of human consciousness. It is beginning now. Humans in greater numbers are becoming more "awake and aware." The "tipping point" (of approximately 36 million people*) is on the horizon. Wait for it. The process will be slow. There will be fits and starts of progress and seeming steps "backwards" but there is no "going back", not really. We have full confidence in you, you humans. You humans really are "the Chosen Ones"; this is your role, to bring about the energetic shifts on Earth that will truly lead to PEACE ON EARTH and a new awareness of the Divinity of the Planet and all living BEings upon Her.

*mayah's note: the number referred to is 1/2 of 1% of the total population of the planet. Given that there are about 7.2 billion humans now on the Earth, this would be about 36 million people, or about 1 out of every 200 people.
