Planting The Future of Humanity with Leslie Goldman YourEG

I gave a talk Friday December 12, 2014 at Rancho La Puerta, the Number One destination spa in at the world, My talk was called "Friendship is a River that has no Borders" a Talk by Leslie Goldman on the Essene Renaissance." The morning of my talk around 8 am I could see clouds moving across the Sacred Mountain Kuchamaa. Early in the week a pot of soil had been brought to my room at the Ranch. When the rain began to fall, I went out and placed seeds of Job's Tears, and seeds of Ancient wheat called Kamut® Khorasan wheat in the pot, and through the day the rain soaked the soil.

The rest of Southern Cal was overtaken by this horrendous storm that hit drought parched California and was now moving into Mexico. For me, for many of the workers of Rancho La Puerta, and for the plants, we were happy.

Many in California on this day and the days before were overtaken with a sense of disaster. My first experience of a natural disaster was in 1971 during the San Fernando Valley earthquake. I was the editor of the San Fernando Sun, a weekly newspaper. The regular editor went into the hospital for two weeks for an Achilles heel surgery. I was promoted.

I was regularly a feature writer for the newspaper, The San Fernando Valley earthquake of 1971 happened during the two weeks I was promoted.

Being editor for those two weeks was one of the most profound educations of my college career. I saw people come together in friendship to help one another. Disaster often does that to people. I believe it is a disaster that we create intense borders of one kind or another when the remedy for peace in the world may be something deeper. Disaster comes to remind us that Friendship is a river that knows no borders.

In this series of photos called "Planting The Future of Humanity," here on Facebook, and in Plant Your Dream Blogs with links below I share some of my adventures at Rancho La Puerta between December 8-13 that culminated with Planting the Future of Humanity that I see very much connected with the Essene Renaissance. I will explain my terms in this series of blogs and explain what I mean by this.

I'M HONORING TO MAIN SEEDS NOW; ONE IS JOB'S TEARS

From year to year, I generally single out one primary seed that seems to represent the growth pattern I am in. Often this is a growth pattern shared by many people. Today the seed of Jobes tears strikes me as the archetypal pattern for our planet. I will explain this idea in the other plot your dream blogs.

KAMUT® KHORASAN WHEAT IS THE OTHER SEED I SHARE THESE DAYS QUITE A LOT

I am share ancient grains of wheat, that I get from my friends at KAMUT international. This grain of wheat, and my love for it was originally inspired by a small book by Edmond Bordeaux Szekely.

This book was originally printed in 1947, the same year that the Dead Sea Scrolls were rediscovered. 1947 is also the year the state of Israel was founded; It is also my Birth year.

Zoroaster, The Master of Life, was a great gardener. This story, later reprinted in another book, "The Book of Asha," is the signature story of my life.

I told the story in my class.
