I spent all day Friday writing a Wrap-Up for my series on the Simpson Seed Library-Penn Department of Ag interactions that led to a Protocol that desired to appease all concerned. There are more Protocols that need to be added to meet the needs of Seed Libraries. I look forward to more interactions between Seed Library Leaders who have been in the field longer than the Simpson Seed Library that began at Earth Day this earth.

Planting Clarity! Simpson Seed Library and Ag Dept Wrap Up: I have been writing about events with the Simpson Seed Library and Pennsylvania Department of Ag for a number of weeks. This is my wrap-up addressing What the Seed Libraries need to do to come into alignment with current Seed Laws. I report on my conversations with Johnny Zook, the Seed Program Rep. I believe a national conversation on Seed Saving, Support for Seed Libraries, and GMO Education needs to come from the Simpson Seed Library-Department of Ag interactions. My intention is to plant this seed through the Plant Your Dream Blogs in this series.

A NATIONAL CONVERSATION ABOUT SEED SAVING AND RELATED ISSUES OF GMO EDUCATION IS NEEDED
Events at the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library in Mechanicsburg, PA and concerns from their State Department of Agriculture about how their Seed Library was running have opened the need for a national conversation about Seed Saving and related issues of GMO education. Issues of liability from Patent Seed Infringement, the inherent Birthright of Gardeners to Save Seeds and return seeds to Seed Libraries, as well as the safety of heirloom seeds from GMO contamination are all up to be addressed.
