Short Summary

Our names are Phil and Juany Noble. Together, we own and operate Sage Mountain Farm. We are an active part of the Organic Food Revolution that is sweeping across our country!

Starting with a small garden, Sage Mountain Farm grew from a hobby into a business. Before we knew it, we were trying our hand at the local farmers' markets and filling up some of our existing corrals with Cows, Pigs, Goats and Chickens.

Our experiment turned in to a passion for bringing produce to the marketplace, and a love for the outdoors and farming. Next came fruit trees, fencing in the property and purchasing an additional 5 acres. We were hooked!

From the beginning we have been committed to growing and raising organic produce. All of our fruits and vegetables are grown using sparkling clean, natural well water and healthy organic processes.

We are truly sustainable, at our high desert property, we also raise Steers, Chickens and Pigs where they feast on organic plant material and organic vegetables. We are USDA Certified Organic growers, and are registered with the Riverside County and State of California Departments of Agriculture.

What We Need & What You Get

We need to add more CSA members in order to help pay a government restructuring fee. In 2012 we experienced a series of unforeseen financial and agricultural setbacks and had to file for Chapter 12 reorganization which is designed specifically to help small Family Farms or Fisherman. Now we are on the right track and have been operating on cash for the past 11 months. We are currently financially self-sustaining.

We need $60,000 by the end of January to pay the restructuring fee. This figure also includes the amount of money we would need to deliver YOU your CSA boxes.
Our produce is not only beautiful and biodiverse, it is chock-full of vitamins and nutrients from our organically maintained soil. A typical CSA box contains 10-15 different fruits and vegetables. A large box can feed a family of 4 for one week.
Our CSA pick-up locations are numerous and conveniently located. Click here to find the location nearest you.
The Impact

Sage Mountain Farm is one of Southern California's major suppliers of organic produce. Our reach extends in to four counties and our infrastructure is well established. If we cannot pay this fee, we will lose the farm and Southern California will lose access to a significant source of organic produce. By supporting the farm through our CSA program, we can create a sustainable and healthful future together. Partial Funding can also help the Farm.

Other Ways You Can Help

Everyone likes fresh, local organic vegetables, but we understand not everyone can join our CSA. Please help us spread the word by sharing this campaign with your social network, friends and family.

And, with the Holidays around the corner, consider giving a CSA box as a gift to your loved ones.

Thank you SO MUCH for you support!
