One question we must think about and should ask ourself; is where will you spend eternit? This is the one thing we all share in our existence!

Hopefully this will wake some of you or at least get you to stop and reconsider your generally shallow life style...

Some years ago a Pastor Mike Coleman from Deland, FL was invited togo fly one clear afternoon with a friend in his two seater show plane. Just after they had cleared the runway and were several hundred feet in the air; the plane began to turn to one side! The rudder had become stuck and the pilot yelled " We are going down!" Mike said they only had about four (4)seconds before the plane struck the ground!

The question that we ask him was:

" What went through your mind those four seconds?"

He answered:
It was the most amazing thing that I have ever experienced. It was like my mind was a computer hard drive which was turned on. My thoughts went back to when I was a child and remembered calling my Dad a name, and many other stupid things.
My thoughts recalled all the sermons I had heard as a child. I instantly began to think about how I missed my daughter's graduation, then the insurance I had left my family, and a check on my desk that I should have signed yesterday.
My mind was flooded by the many memories in my past.

" I literally remembered all the things long forgotten, in cluding many mistakes, words, which I had spoken, church services I had sat in - and it all hit my mind (Soul) and Spirit in those fours seconds! "

Then the key question that we all want to know:

" Were you able to repent and ask for God's forgiveness? "

He answered:
"There is no doubt. In fact with all that information flooding through my mind and Spirit; I was actually asking the Lord God to forgive me for everything in my life that may have been wrong!"

** This should bring great comfort in knowing that if a person has the seed of the Word of God planted within them and is about pass over into Eternity with only seconds of breath or life remaining in their body; that they would be able to recall the loving warnings and messages to then call upon The Lord Jesus for forgiveness and mercy!
You do not need any long sinners prayer in order to receive true redemption!

As the thief on the cross ask Christ -
"Remember me when you come into your kingdom.": Luke 23:42

"Whosoever calls upon the name of The Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:13

God is looking for a true faith in the heart of a person!

It is important to teach your family and closest friends the importantce of keeping a repentant spirit; because no one knows the exect moment when in an event of sudden tragedy may snatch you away; so therefore you should have made peace with The Lord God before you leave this life!

** No one should take the risk of living their lives without Christ, then hopeing to have the opportunity to repent. There may well be a split second of time between the death and the departure of their Soul in which a person could call upon the name of Christ. But do not bet on it, because it is far better to know that each day you are preparded because you have a covenant, redemptive relationship with the Savior of the World!

Then you can say as the Lakota Indians say:

" Today is a good day to die!"


** May God Bless you, in your search and finding of a personal relationship with Him!

Religion will not save you, creeds will not save you, being nice will not save you, knowing about God will not save you, being rich or powerful will not save you!

Your only saving Grace is coming to establish a loving personal relationship {through Faith and total Belief} with the Lord Jesus Christ!

This entry is made in order to make you aware of the need to establish {Accept} The Lord Jesus Christ into your life, because you can not actually count on getting repreve just a few seconds upon your departure from this life; that will save You!
