Worked on updating the Description of the Campaign on the Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza Facebook Page.
"Grow A Healthier Pizza" is our Rally Cry and Chapters in a Book of the same name that records Our Journey as a community to reclaim Pure Food Reform in America.
"Grow A Healthier Pizza!" is a call to make that we each have pure food choices free of GMO contamination. We each have the Right to Know the ingredients in our Food. This is an issue of Food Safety.
"Grow A Healthier Pizza!" is also about developing the confidence that we can grow some of our own food.
Food Reform in America will begin as more people become aware of the need that we can regain our beat with nature.
The Campaign to Grow A Healthier Pizza began in 2012 through the inspiration of a handful of courageous souls who committed to help pass Prop 37. I put in many hours on this project, the entries on this Facebook reflect what I learned.

THE 7.5 MILLION + 2 2012 GROW A HEALTHIER PIZZA CAMPAIGN
Our Beginnings...
The Journey to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds in where we are headed. In 2012, I Committed to be one of the 7.5 Million + 2, The number of CA Voters I sensed that were needed to Vote YES ON PROP 37 for us to win this.
This magical number represents a simple majority of CA voters was based on 2008 CA Voting Numbers that it was projected we needed to Win Prop 37. Prop 37 was a Historic People's Initiative that came out of CA and was destined to shift our understanding of Food Safety across the entire Nation, and shift GMO farming practices around the world.
Near a million of us in CA called forth the Right to Know Label Genetically Engineered Food Act. Nov 6, election day in CA, more than 4.3 million voted YES for Prop 37.
This was only the Beginning of our Campaign to plant the Greatest Grassroots movement in CA History. Our Rally Cry is "Grow A Healthier Pizza!"
The Right to Know & Knowing How to Grow Some of Our Food are principles for Cultivating long overdue Pure Food Reform. For more than 100 years, Food Reformers in America and around the world have recognized that we can no longer look to commercial Interests in Gov or Big Ag to help us Keep Our Beat with Nature.
America The Beautiful--and Prophetic Voices from the Past, Present, and Future--the very nature of the Seed itslef--are looking to us to hear and be a Different Drummer now. Come together--Unity and diversity-- to reclaim our Biodiversity.

THE CAMPAIGN BEGAN WITH AM AMBITIOUS PETITION CALLING FOR POEPLE EVERY WHERE TO SUPPORT PROP 37
More than 400 signed online. Many signed off line.
Many supported many of the projects supported by our allies in many organizations. Together we all were able to turn th4 4.3 Million Number.
There is so much to learn from what we accomplished.
I am writing about that in "Grow A Healthier Pizza." The ebook is being written, chapter by chapter on the Plant Your Dream Blog.

THE CARAVAN, SEPTEMBER 1-10, 2012 WAS A LEG ON THE JOURNEY TO WIN BACK OUR SACRED SEEDS
THE CARAVAN, SEPTEMBER 1-10 TO THE NATIONAL HEIRLOOM EXPO
The Caravan to the National Heirloom Expo, 2012 was my main project to contribute to planting the Grassroots Movement that I see as essential if we are to move forward beyond the current age where many of us and our children are Genetically Modified through chemical influence on our system of Agriculture. This includes GMO proliferation that has the current blessing of those who control the spending purses in Washington.
I am convinced that through the further creation of a literal Grassroots Movement of gardeners in support of local organic and beyond agriculture, we will pass through the current Dark Night of the Soul that clouds our vision. We each carry a part of the American Dream, that in essence was a Vision of support for Cultural Biodiversity through supporting each of us taking our Dreams out of the Package.
The Caravan, Sept 1-10, to the National heirloom EXPO Sept. 11-13, 2012 is an important leg of the Journey to Win Back Our Sacred Seeds. We are each Sacred Seeds and we need heirloom seeds to fulfill our full Voice and expression. To 'Plant Your Dream' we need Health Food.
