Dealing With "The Wheel of (Mis)Fortune" by #29621 .....

An authentic correspondence with some real life humor.

The following is in reply to information I sent a certain retiree in Arizona.:

" Yes I do try to have positive thoughts. Tho at times I will admit I get off the track. There isn't anyone I am angry with now. When I think of J___, I say to myself it is her loss, not mine. I did a lot more for her than she did for me. In fact I think she must miss me, but would never admit it.

We have been dealing with the Monsoons now. High winds, dust storms & the like. One of my favorite programs is 'The wheel of Fortune'. It is on channel 15 at 6:30. But channel 15 is also a highly rated weather station here. So - 2 nights this week they had weather reports on at that time which super seeded my program... My way of looking at it is the weather is what it is, no matter what they for cast. i must admit, I was yelling at the TV to get off the weather & put my program on! I guess that would be considered anger.. They didn't listen to me. They went on & on & On about what's coming & where it's coming from & how fast it's coming, & I kept saying 'who the f--- cares! So that's where I was, but now have calmed down.
All for now,"

I think this last paragraph could be turned into a stand-up routine. What do you think?
