Juan of MIHO Gastro Truck thanks Anthony Russo
of BioSmart Packaging for sending down the sugar cane
bagasse plates to go with an incredible lunch served
Feb 5 at the Drumbeat San Diego Event at the Queen Bees.

We used BioSmart Packaging Plates at the Drumbeat San Diego
event, February 5.

They were used to serve the wonderful lunch
served on the MIHO Gastrotruck.

I want to hook up Juan of the MIHO Gartrotruck with Anthony Russo
of BioSmart Packaging.

These are two really great projects.

I ackknowledged the gift of the BioSmart Plates in
my closing words where we planted a beet toward the growth
of the Drumbeat San Diego Community.

This was a thank you note from Juan of MIHO Gastrotruck
to Anthony.

Juan has a very exciting street to farm project.

I would like to see the BioSmart Packaging plates used
on the HIMO Gastrotruck on a regular basis.

I was supporting Andrew Reiff in his collaborative project
called EAT at the Drumbeat San Diego Event.

Here is a follow up concerning the
BioSmart Packaging and our aim to get it more widely
used at Farmers' Markets.

THIS IS A PROJECT I WANT TO GET GOING
AT OUR HILLCREST FARMERS' MARKET IN SAN DIEGO

FROM ANDREW REIFF

http://eatgoodfood.posterous.com/

So far, it's been great for me, I've met a lot of people who truly care about the community and about community health and happiness. I'll introduce you to them, too.

Some of them are EAT volunteers, like Leslie Goldman, the Enchanted Gardener ( http://plantyourdream.net
), who is volunteer for us at the Hillcrest Farmer's Market. We've made some good video together. We've made some videos for him. All our services are free or with a suggested donation.

Leslie is trying to rid the Hillcrest Farmer's Market of styrofoam, which is a fantastic idea with which we agree, so we are looking to spread that idea to the other markets.

I started EAT Good Food San Diego a little over two months ago. I can not express enough my high regard for the people of the local Drumbeat SD community, and for Art Neill (pronounced "kneel") and Mera Szendro-Bok from newmediarights.org. The help, encouragment and support continue to help and motivate me.

The Drumbeat San Diego Live Event was a blast and a blastoff for EAT. The people who attended were so enthusiastic and helpful, too! Giving us many fresh ideas.

Please consider involving yourself in EAT Good Food San Diego. Send us your food ideas and pictures. Write a guest column. If you have a question, we might be able to answer it.

We take (and need) contributions, too.

Here's my intro at Drumbeat SD Live:

OTHER PROJECTS IN COLLABORATION WITH EAT
AND DRUMBEAT SAN DIEGO

These would include
the Organic Lettuce Challenge.

Here are two videos that relate to this
and a Plant Your Dream Blog.
