Scott Masters and I joined a group introduction and "social" at the Controversial Bookstore in San Diego.

I brought DVDs, available for sale.

When I first wrote this (before the event) I was thinking of touching "lightly" upon the very critical history of milk since "the War of 1812" up through now. And in thinking further on that I noted that the "art of war" is largely about dividing and conquering. The "War of 1812" consequently caused what I am call a "mutation" in milk that eventually became the start of two entirely different milks as well as a "conquering" spirit in the one "milk" interest. (I have additional blogs here regarding the two milks that you can read further on.) The "conquering" spirit in the one "milk" interest is something I have not personally blogged on before but I feel it is something that needs to be shared given all the "raids" that have occurred regarding raw milk over the last couple years.

Update:
Just returned from this gathering and it was most impressive in a number of ways. Please bare with me (if you will) given the fact that I'm sharing this in the context of this particular Raw Milk Blog however the venue for the gathering was the Controversial Bookstore - a center for realms of thought and spirit beyond the conventional world.

There were roughly about eighteen of us total. We all got to introduce ourselves based on the host's invite to share what we are doing, what we are interested in. I was noting the times that people were taking to share which varied from about two to about seven minutes. My intro took about eleven minutes (and it included "interjections" from others on the subject of raw milk)!

I began sharing my deep gratitude for the opportunity the bookstore offered for us to participate in a community-building group and that I felt I had been "waiting" since about 1981 for this! That was when I was in Escondido and began publishing a paper called Transformations that was intended to be a community forum for people to share their personal experiences of transformation in their lives. I also said that it was my thought to use that forum for my own personal sharing which I realized (after publishing it) that I really didn't do that. Now I see how I needed to have trust in the "community" to be willing to open up and share my authentic experience without fear of consequence. Then in my introduction I said we are building that environment of trust here in this group and because I recognize it, it is safe for me to be my true self and express my truth. I said I had come prepared to share my DVD: "Raw Milk: The Whole Truth" but we have already built something that I felt was of a higher order and that my DVD could take a secondary position. Then the host interjected saying how the body is to be regarded as well as the rest of the metaphysical sharing and so I responded accordingly that indeed "The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit" and food that nourishes the body is something that is close to all of us because I have yet to meet anyone who is a total breatharian! (That statement appeared to be well appreciated!)

And then others shared about the value of raw milk which was all really wonderful to hear because they shared from their direct experience, in their own voices and that made my sharing easier and more enjoyable because I felt all the more connected with the others there! An all-raw dairy was mentioned that used to be in existence near Escondido a few decades ago. Goat milk was mentioned as well as raw cheese and a friend also spoke about the video clips I have up at You Tube. It all made for a very good personal intro!

Afterwords a participant said my sharing was very lucid! That felt wonderful to me! I had never heard anyone give me that kind of feedback before! I also heard another participant say something about my violet aura. These kind of reflections from others is priceless in my estimate. Although there were "spiritual intuitives" (and the like) attending our group who probably could have given me "readings" for a fee, there is something more valuable to me experiencing the feedback that is voluntarily given in a group where we each are opening up to one another without/ beyond the interest for profiting from an exchange. I did bring my DVDs so they could be available to be sold but I declared a higher value on the trust-building and what that meant to me and was willing to literally lay down the DVDs
and yet as soon I did that there was a response that acknowledged the value of the "Truth" of raw milk and that was an unexpected double blessing that I had no preconception of before it happened! What a gift!

Time for my Chinese Herbs.
