Keep The Beet, Essene Teacher,

The Essenes of old were not a religion,
they were a Way of Life, a walk.
They show up in many religions
and are drawn to spiritual practices
that resonate acceptance of many paths.
They are the 13th tribe, the hub.

Mille Meditation, one of the last
projects of Edmond Bordeaux Szekely,
celetbrated 8000 years of nature wisdom
from many paths and traditions.
It was intended to be a park
in San Diego County.
I visited the land a few times in the late
70's and early 80's.
Last I heard it remains in the hands
of custodians who wanted to sell it,
but were having some difficulty
do to economic times.

The Essenes, were very human in nature.
They fell, as most of us, through Pride.
Pride comes before the fall.

We are in crisis today.
Souls, drawn to the Essene Way, can help.
It is important that we adopt
omni-lateral viewpoints.
Omni-lateral was a favorite
word of Edmond Bordeaux Szekely.

Dr. Bernard Jensen
was my primary Essene Teacher.

This is art he used.
I was given permission to use this art
from his family.

I had the inspiration to add
the words Essene School oF Thought
and Dr. Bernard Jensen yesterday
as I was processing feelings and doing
writing about the upcoming Modern Essene Gathering
hosted by one of the Essene ministers
Dr Gabriel Cousens. I admire Gabriel
in many ways. He is also very human,
as much as any of us. Being a teacher
and learning lessons from those around
us goes with the territory of being human.




Dr. Bernard Jensen, saw more than 350,000
patients in his day. He was an Essene Teacher
of the highest order. He was beloved by people
of all religions. He once was asked to give the highest
spiritual talk he could teach in a Christian Church.
His lesson was on Bowel Management.
he taught that consciousness began in the bowel.

He lifted me up from crippled thoughts
and crippled body. He taught me what I needed
to know. I came to live with him right out of college
at a time when I was forced to leave the life I
imagined I wanted, being a member of the
regular press.

I will forever be paying Dr. Bernard Jensen back
for what he taught me about the ways of nature.
On the day he lost the original property
of the old Hidden Valley Health Ranch,
now in the guardianship of the Yogananda
fellowship, he spoke on the Essenes.
They were among his favorite and deepest loves.
He stands in the lineage, since the foundation
of time, of Souls who have incarnated
to serve humanity. The Essenes are a soul
group activity that has incarnated time and again
to serve humanity.

Dr. Bernard Jensen was one of my three
fathers, and a near lifelong friend. We met
first the year I graduated college in 1972.

Any Modern Essene gathering that I would host
would honor his roots
and what he gave to us all.
I would also honor the contribution
of Dr.Gabriel Cousens, who is leading
the fulfillment of an important Seed Dream
I planted--that the Essenes become
a part of modern Judiasm. There are
much Essene Soul Group activity
within the Jewish Renewal movement.
I can spot an Essene by just looking
into them.

ABOUT DR BERNARD JENSEN

More was known of the inner workings of nature,
that we might ever know. He was able to look
in the eye, see where an organ was weak
and then go to nature to support that organ
with foods that would build up each person.

He would drive some people to anger.
He could talk for 45 mnutes on the benefits of
vegetarianism and converted many to this,
as did Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, his friend
and Essene ally.

Then, another person in the audience would
ask a question about meat eating. Jensen
would talk for 45 minutes on the benefits
of protomorphigens, made of animal products.
He recommended a diet of 60 % raw for most
people that he saw. He dealt with beginningers,
people who came to him as a last resort.

He also contributed to the improvement of many
people's health.

There were times in his life that he was a vegetarian,
and other times in his life that he was not.

He also was a master at understanding how to fast
others. Fasting is an Essene practice. During my days
living with him at the old Hidden Valley Health Ranch,
there were some people on 40 day fasts on water.
There were also people on juice fasts.

What he told a person was not a diet,
but a balanced living regimen.

He gave people what they needed to uplift them.

He saw the soul, and knew enough about the soil
to give a person what they needed.

Above all things, he gave love.
He is loved by vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
The greatest people of his time he honored.
He was a master bridgebuilder.
He was one of the most charismatic health
teachers of his age and the world of enlightened
health thinking deeply misses him.

He lived to 92. He was a workaholic
and very human. At the age of 87,
he was given up to die with cancer.
He went home and took his own medicine.
He overcame cancer. He was so proud
of his bowel healing. Later on,
he overworked again, and broke down.
He died unable to walk. At another time
late in life he was paralyzed.
He recovered, and then walked again.

He was forever a servant of humanity,
who said most people died in bed.
He would work all day and night at times,
spending hours in esoteric studies
in his alone time. By day, he served countless numbers.

What is good about him will always be
remembered in Essene Circles of the inner
Brotherhood and sisterhood. He is one of our Essene Elder
Teachers.
