Went out to La Milpa Organic Farm yesterday
for a potuck Celebration. I was on vapors.

I stayed for a few hours, then left.

I watched local farm hero Barry Logan
wandering around. I listened in on one conversation
about the state of affairs of La Milpa Organic Farm,
one of San Diego's Counties most Enchanted local organic Farms.

Barry goes before a magistrate this Monday.
This is not a jury. This is a meeting before Regulators.
Barry is concerned. There are issues on the farm that
have been cited.

What will the results be?

What is clear that what happens at La Milpa Organica Farm
goes may beyond San Diego County.

We are in a state of emergency regarding the future of
food in our nation. A profound national listening is called
for, a Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food.

It is not my position to rally community support for
the fate of La Milpa Organic Farm.

I can only say as Your Enchanted Gardener that I can see
and seed one possible outcome.

The community of San Diego rallies to support and listen
to Barry Logan.

Barry logan is one of our most astute farmers.
He understands agriculture.

From his point of view, "Big Ag" is in crisis.

It is so unwieldy, it will likely topple within 50 years, i
heard Barry Logan say. The world will then look again to
a system of local organic farmers, as it has for eons
to save itself.

Today, I will plant a beet in a pot for the fate of La Milpa
when I go to the Hillcrest Farmers' Market where I wlll
see Barry Logan and my other Beet Keeper Farmers.

What the Seed Dream grows into, I leave to you.
