In the Western World the thought that all men & women were created equal; is predominately; from the Greek and Christian influence!

 Before you get all bent out of shape, we know that through out history, people have been dominated,  there were slaves, and women were restricted, plus all the other inequities of the society! Now this is exactly where we are going with this post!

 Read the preamble to The Decoration of Independence, 1776; where it states:

  We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain

 

unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. —

 

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of

the governed, —

 

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it,

 

and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them

 

shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established

 

should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more

 

disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

 

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under

 

absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. —

 

***  Just stop and reflect upon this Unique Document! Note the freedoms declared and the plan of God which we hold as "self - evident."

 God created all men (humans) equal!  Governments (In many cases under a Religious Agenda)  of mankind have placed all the restrictions along with rules, and regulations on people!

 It is all about wither you will have the freedom as God gave each person; or the domination of either one or both government or religion!

 God gives free agency,  Man takes it away!  It all comes down to someone wanting to control you! 

 

BTW: God does not control mankind, if He did there would not be any evil or sin in the world!  You have a free agency to choose who and what you will do! HUH!  Think on that friend!

 God is about love and free choice for all,  while Satan is about domination and control; being self centered and rebellious & (sinful)!
