Love Lighte The Longest Nights

WORDS THAT MEN NEED TO KNOW
and WOMAN want to Hear
Shines at CELEBRATE SOLSTICE
RAIN DANCE

There were numbers of delightful experiences
in the Enchanted Garden Installation at the
recent CELEBRATE SOLSTICE RAIN DANCE.

LAKSJO GRACE one of the key ceremonialists
empowered at the event, saw me reading
one of the Love cures to EMILY ROCCHI and her Beloved.
She wanted me to do a similar ritual for her and
her new beau, WILLIAM, who performed with her.

I want to thank Laksmi and William,
and EMILY ROCCHI and her sweetheart TYLER
for motivating me to do this writing.
This is not something I have written about
lately.

Poets across the centuries have reflected
on the influence of love on the weather.
For me this has been a given.
over decades, I have experiences rain falling
during nights of love bliss. The key here
is of course knowing bed chamber arts,
and loving words spoken are a key to
romance, as well a good agricultural practice.

WORDS THAT MEN
NEED TO KNOW and WOMEN WANT TO HEAR,
THE SEVEN LOVE CURES, are tools I reomment
to any Enchanted Gardener. Include them
in your toolbag when you are called upon
to bring moisture. In any case, they will
bring tender hearts, and fill the space with
warm feelings.

A woman needs to be open to receive love.
The more a woman receives love, the more the health of
the womb. This is knowledge every man needs to know.
This as well relates to the health of the earth.
Mother Earth is a woman. Her soil is the equivalent
of every woman's fertile womb.

These principles of love as well apply to agriculture.
The more love a gardener or farmer gives to the soil,
the more fertile the health of the soil,
and the better the crops.

Such techniques of growing food are a bit
outside the domain of the conventional Ag
Most traditional food growers know something
of these laws of nature.

I often say, Gardeners make better lovers.
A man who appreciates flowers will appeciate
something as beautiful as a woman's heart.
I recommend that women who want a good
man, send him to the garden. If he is a gardener
already, that is a good sign that he will be a good
lover.

As long as her heart is open, she can give back.
As long as her heart is open, she will have
good heart health.

To do a ritual with the SEVEN LOVE CURES,
have the couple sit near each other.
Some of the poems are intended to be spoken
by the man to the woman. Others by the Woman
to the man.

When the man reads the poem to the woman,
I say to her, "Pretend you cannot hear my voice.
I am his Enchanted Gardener. You can only
hear his voice."

Then I say the words outloud, the man repeats
the words to the beloved.

I have been doing this ritual for more than ten years.

The poems were originally called THE SEVEN LOVE CURES.

There are seven of my poems, some written as far back
as the mid 80's.

THE SEVEN LOVE CURES
TIMES I USED THEM EFFECTIVELY
OVER THE YEARS.

HOW TO USE THESE POEMS
YOURSELF

WE"VE GONE BEYOND WORDS, #7, is a closing poem.
In the 80's and 90's I would use it as the final words
for solstice and eequnox gatherings. There are times
when I will have the whole group say the words.

This was highly effective in closing the author's breakfast
at INATS one year in Florida. JAMES WANLESS, of the VOYAGER
TAROT DECK was the emcee. As often is the case at
many events, I am not officiallly on the program, but
through relationship, I do a poem.

In 1993, a very rich ceremonial year, there were three
major conferences that summer. I did not know the
program directors at any of the three before I arrived,
but in all three instances, I read a poem and spoke
some words right before the main keynote speaker.

I cannot say why or how this happens.
It has something to do with a Ceremonialist who
carries the Dabhar, rising up to give what is needed
at the appropriate moment. The Word shines
when the Program Director gives her blessing.
Repeatedly over the years, the poem, or the
experience is noted later by many who attend
as a highly of the event.

Over the years, I have been spoiled by this experience.
I am use to it happening. I would say that the poems
themselves inherently carry power. They are all soul-inspired
words. Many ceremonialists will find value in including
them when they are called to participate in an
opening or closing ceremony.

...Have to go now...
