Going the Extra Mile for My Beet Keeper Beet Growing Farmers by YourEnchantedGardener .....
Working into the 7 O'clock hour to record
the work that was done at the PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM '09
to plant and advance the seed of more members for our
local BEET KEEPER CSA's + promote more awareness that
we are each asked now to shop our local Farmers' Market.
I specifically see more Pacific College students and alums
who live locally coming to see me at the HILCREST FARMERS' MARKET,
Shop the Hillcrest Farmers' Market and join a beet keeper beet growers CSA there.
The HILLCREST FM is a pickup spot both for JR ORGANICS and INLAND EMPIRE
CSA. BARRY LOGAN of LA MILPA ORGANIC also offers up his beyond organic

November 14, 09
I thought I would be relaxing by now.
I ate at the computer. I am not sure
this is the way to reverse age and go from
62 to 42. My birthday is November 19.
I am feeling a recommittment to life
and my balanced life practices.
This is saying a lot a time when
there is a lot of cleanup and grounding
to do from recent opportunities that
emerged at the PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM '09.
I want to make good on the valuable
contributions of food that were given me
to bring to the ENCHANTED GARDEN INSTALLATION
at the PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM '09 November 5-8.
I see the work I do for the farmers as
as trade of services. I do this event
once a year. The Farmers give a lot to make
the space beautiful.
We had baskets of individual foods from each farmer
with their photo near it.
Some of the foods were sold to meet minor expenses
and a lot more was given away through sampling
the final day and named collected of anyone local.
The work done at this Enchanted Garden Installation
sets the stage for other goals to be fulfilled that are
seeded at the event.
I see the benefits of each cnntribution coming
beyond the event.
There were numbers of specific goals as well
and I am evaluating these results. There were a number
of crisis and health situations that impeded potential
results. A few of the staff, including myself were under
the weather in the days before the set up.
Matt and I both had flu type symptoms.
Using my natural remedies I overcame the flu Symptoms.
Another of the key personnel I had hoped to begin training
could not come. Her presence, or another person trained
in CSA recruitment
will ensure quicker success of bringing in more members
for the INLAND EMPIRE CSA.
I am looking over some of the photos
are they are filled with energy.
Working late is compensated by the love I feel
for my farmers who feed me,
and my deep committment to see all of their
needs fulfilled. There is no shortage of
moutns to feed in San Diego who can benefit
from some of the finest food grown by
three of San Diego's premiere local organic
BEET KEEPER Beet Grower Farmers.
There success is my fulfillment.
Here are some photos from FACEBOOK
of some the antics we did to spread the word.
I was planting seeds and doing all I could
to fulfill the goals set.
A number of other key personnel showing up
at key points throughout the event
would have enhanced the results,
but I am pleased with what we got.
I want my BEET KEEPER FARMER BEET GROWERS
to know their investment in me was well spend
and that a community of support--that will translate
into more CSA members and FM Community of Real Food Eaters in in the works.
