COME ROOT YOUR DREAM Gathering will
fall on Sukkot, the harvest festival when
rain prayers are asked.

SUKKOT
is a harvest festival
that comes following
the Days of Awe.

Here is a video of one of my
favorite Rebbe's
SHLOMO CARLBACH
KEEPS the BEET for rain
during a SUKKOT CELEBRATION.
He left the body about 14 years ago.

The site says:

Reb Shlomo taught us that Hoshana Rabbah is the day of the final sealing of judgment, which began on Rosh Hashannah. During the festival of Sukkot the world is judged for water and for the blessings of the fruit and crops. The seventh day of the festival is the final sealing and since human life depends on water, Hoshana Raba is somewhat similar to Yom Kippur.
