"This is to inform you of the upcoming WAPF San Diego Chapter meeting on Thursday, January 29th at 7 PM. We will meet at my office in Solana Beach. The address is 107 N. Acacia Avenue Solana Beach, CA 92075. From I-5, exit at Lomas Santa Fe Drive and go west towards the ocean. Cross the Coast Highway. Turn right on the first street past the Coast Highway. Our office is on the left hand side in the first block. You may park on the street or in the parking lot to your right.


We will have a presentation by Melissa Williams, a WAPF member and local goat farmer. We will also be discussing ways we can get involved in a large effort to stop the use of genetically modified organisms in America.


We are putting together a San Diego County resource list of buying clubs, CSAs (community sustained agriculture), sources for local pastured eggs, beef, etc, as well as a list of WAPF-friendly practitioners. We will distribute this list at our meeting. If you have any resources to be listed, please let us know as soon as possible.


If you are receiving this email and you are not a WAPF member, but would like to be on our regular WAPF distribution list, please let me know. You will receive notices of upcoming meetings. It is a great way to stay informed of local issues regarding whole foods.

Any one in San Diego who is interested in Weston A. Price, a "nourishing traditions"-based diet, local nutrient-dense food sources and/or giving input on the development of this local chapter is encouraged to attend this meeting. This is virtually the first chapter meeting beyond the initial special event where Mark McAfee gave his informative presentation on raw milk back on October 29th, 2008.
