Margaret Spellings,
our U.S. Secretary of Education,
is the first Mother of school-aged children
to serve as Education Secretary.

Spellings has a special appreciation for the hopes and concerns
of American families.

She gave the Keynote address at
the Biotechnology Edcaton Banquet Program
June 16 at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina.
