Amazing!
What the new generation is doing at SDSU!
I participated strongly on SDSU activity during the 80's.
It will be great to tell them about the Intersection House
and the Tuesday night dinners that went on for years!
Perhaps in the new evolution of this community,
located within walking distance, they will find a place
to do some hands on activity.
I have a Seed Dream for a convergence.

With a recycling center on site, eco-friendly transportation available via the Trolley, the Green Love initiative and a supportive university community, going green is easy and convenient!
San Diego State's Enviro-Business Society (e3) initiated a campus-wide campaign that will bring the San Diego community together to spread awareness of sustainable lifestyle choices and celebrate green living during Earth Day 2008.
"This is a green generation," said Erica Johnson, co-president of e3. "We are asking the student body and community to join us to celebrate the progression of this movement. The philosophy is that we come together now and show our passion for the common good of the future."
EARTHDAY08@SDSU

One of Oxfam's recent projects is currently taking place in Ecuador, where an estimated 3.5 million people have been affected by heavy rain and flooding. In March, Oxfam began installing 30 water tanks and constructing temporary showers and latrines at the Ecuadorian shelters, as well as distributing water, hygiene kits and other aid, in effort to help prevent the spread of disease at the shelters.
"It is important to recognize Earth Day on a global perspective," said Amanda Costa, co-president of e3. Join us at the Cultural Drum Circle to raise awareness and collect financial support for the men, women and children all over the world who are served through Oxfam.
