I was out on the Town last night.
I had a delightful time down at San Diego's Westgate Hotel.

Last night was my one week anniversary for being 60.
I celebrated my birthday at the Westgate.

Last week, Ron Nash of The Nash Group coordinated my reading
of a poem with Julio. That night I read three poems.

The Plaza Bar was full to the gills when we arrived.
I found this intimidating.

By the end of the evening last week, I was invited up to the stage to
read more. I got into my zone and gave two of the Seven Love Cures.
These are words that men need to know and women want to hear.
Our fathers as men, most of us, never learned these words.
Thus, begins the saga of endless pain caused women and pain to ourselves.

We would like a woman to remain open to love,
and yet a woman is a flower, and gardeners make better lovers.

Who among us still knows the stills of the gardener,
yet alone the Enchanted Gardeners of the Soul?

What school teaches us the Soul inspired words that a keep
a woman's heart healthy?

What words keep her free of breast cancer because she is speaking
her deepest truth with chest held high?

Eating poor foods and too much is often the result of
doing things in the bed that we do not want to do.

We all suppress our feelings.
We make Food Our Lover.

We do not go the distance with those we love.
We do not take time to discover why we have the behaviors we have.

Life is intended to be Joyful, says The Dancer.
Go for the Joy, she reminds me.
Go for my Vision. Women will be drawn to my Joy.

The Dancer: She was my Salsa Dance Teacher during the
days when I went into the Thornton Hospital for Hip Revisions.

They get you out of bed by day Two or Three at the latest.

I had some of my favorite women healers with me every day and night.
It helped cause a speedy recovery.

The Dancer was with me on Day Four.
She had me out of bed doing dance step to music.

She is the only person I know who ever received a check from an Insurance Company
for dance lessons, but that is another story.

Back to Overeating!
I do it all the time.
In Winter, overeating is the death of me.

Once Fall comes, the meridians go South.
There is a reversal. Have you discovered you cannot eat the say way in Summer
as you do in Winter?

Have you discovered there are foods that are intended for each season?

This is the subject of Dr. Elson Haas' classic, "Eating by the Seasons."

Back to Overeating.

Here is my Thanksgiving Score Card
plus score card last night:

November 26, 07

Lunch: I blew it.
Paris Bingo offered me some of Angelene's Kiech (Spelling?)
you know that popular pie with cheese. I do not know how to spell the name
right now. Sounds like Keeche...

Paris also brought in a plate of Sprouts from our Portable Mini Enchanted Garden...
they were Broccoli and some diakon, so very easy to grow in containers.

We had a bit of Anna's raw salad too.

Angelene shares her love through the things she makes and buys.
We are big time Foodies here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.

Our mouth orifices are are primary sex organs, as we currently
are a school of culinary orgasm....lots of sounds at the dinner table
remind me of less caloric bedroom adventures I have had on site from time to time
with a loved one.

Lunch: I overate. I could not digest what I ate.
I also had some of Angelene's Falafel.
I do have have a digestion to do fried foods with oil.

Lunch: Food 6, Goldman 0

Evening: I do not think I ate any dinner.
I did not have a bowel movement.
Now that I think of it, I haven;t had a regular bowel movement for about a week.
I am back on the Use Up the Rain Forest Program, i.e, extreme diarrhea.

My bowel has gone South, but things are not as bad as they can get.

Dr. Bernard Jensen said that Consciousness begins in the Bowel.

I still have a chance to Recover before I go totally down hill.

Last night I went out.
I napped for at least two hours.
Then, I went to the Westgate Hotel for my regular Venue.

It is a smoke free environment. There was a lot of eating and drinking.
I could have had some birthday cake to celebrate Pepe's 62nd,
but I did not eat anything I also had no need to visit the bathroom.
Thank God.

All in all, I am pleased. When I came home, I was very hungry.
I drank some water. I feel I better give my bowel more of a rest.

Sunday, Saturday, Friday:

I was at that the Universal Temple of Higher Consciousness in Hidden Valley,
across from Dr. Bernard Jensen's old Hidden Valley Health Ranch.

I brought up some good food from JR Organics.

I spend Thanksgiving there.

I ate a tad two much for Thanksgiving, two plates of Turkey, but no dessert.
The stuffing had cheese in it. I did eat some of that.

Then I went to Paul Schlomann's party in Vista. I did good. I just had a handful of
pine nuts...but really I ate too late at night.

The next morning, I went back to JR Organics.

I asked Christina, the grandma of the family to feed me.
I had more Turkey and some mashed poatoes... not too much.
I passed on the Pan (bread). I did pretty good.

The Joy of the day was going out to field with the Field Hands.
Delightful! Nurturing! Loving!

Wow!!!! That was satisfying down to my tummy!

Love that is what I am really wanting to share...
human, deep, kindness, freedom from isolation.

The guys were picking for four Farmers' Markets and a number of CSA's.

Richardo was a complete joy.

I like to be called "Amigo!"
That touches me.

I was reminded of the Spring trip to Tecate for World Environment Day:

The Enchanted Garden Theme:

Friendship is a river that has no borders.

La amistad es un rio que no tiene frontera.

That may be a good line to memorize for the days ahead
when many of us will be called upon to know now to garden, support local farming,
and have established friendships with our neighbors.

Yes, my friends...these are the days when we are being asked to again
live in harmony with our earth and know these skills.

Keep reading the Plant Your Dream Blog.
I will do my best to point you in a direction that can lead
to not only Surviving This Day, but Thriving through the End Times.

The End Times????

That is another story...
Most of us forget that after the End TImes...the Armageddon Myth...
comes the 1000 years of Peace. Why wait. We can start having peace now.

Back to overeating...

Right now...feels like I am undereating....

Going in for some acupuncture today.
Will work on my bowel and digestion....

Wishing you well on your journey making peace with food.
