To the Members of the San Diego Jewish Community,
In light of the events of the past week, we encourage you to join other community members tonight and/or tomorrow for prayer, study and Shabbat celebration. It will be an opportunity to show solidarity with those who have lost their homes, and to draw spiritual strength and emotional support after this traumatic personal and communal experience.
Below is a list of local congregations; we are grateful that none of their buildings sustained damage in the fire. Everybody is welcome to attend services at any of the synagogues.
For service times not specified, please contact the synagogue directly or check their website. Click here
for synagogue locations, phone numbers and weblinks.
If you wish to make a donation to the Jewish Community Disaster Fund, you may do so online at the UJF's website: jewishinsandiego.org.
May the spirit of Shabbat bring a needed measure of peace to our community.
Shabbat Shalom.
