At the ABA years ago, the name before
"BEA," Your Enchanted Gardener arrived with
the plant in this picture. The flower blooms one day a year.
While everyone was Sufi Dancing at the NAPRA event,
the cactus opened. James Wanless of the Voyager Tarot
was in one photo with the plant. The word got out to the ABA.
Everyone wanted to know what was the Trick.
There was no Trick.
At the following ABA in 1994, Leslie was the photographer
for the coming out party for CHiCKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL
book One. Leslie took the book to a stream at the Taylor's
Herb Garden in Vista, CA. He planted a dream for the
books success. The rest is History.

Here is a photo of the same plant that opened
in May 2008. The plant and Leslie live at the
Enchanted Garden Intentional Community in San Diego.
