The Juice Fast, Day 9/28
(Juice Fasting for the third time - 28 days)
Week 2 has started well. Feel free to comment!

It's amazing how far I've come! Tomorrow I will be past one-third of this fast!
Any topical thoughts on how I'm feeling? I would say my mind feels funnily separate from my body. I'm not talking about any outer-body experience, but rather my mind being clear, and my body seeming to take care of itself by itself. When I jog or carry heavy stuff my body gets tired, but no longer is my mind clouded by messages to quit or rest. I feel like finally being able to reach my full bodily potential in excercise now that my negative mind isn't telling it 'oh this is too hard, I'm just too unfit and lazy, I don't like sweating and these aching muscles are so annoying'. I hope the feeling lasts when I break the fast and start getting more energy into me.
I haven't been namely hungry, although I haven't drank enough fluids. The weekend was busy as with unpacking, juicing, carrying stuff all around and then unpacking some more. Lots of heavy lifting and climbing the stairs to the third floor. I didn't have much time to take care of my juice and water intake, but I didn't feel too bad.
This morning my throat was sore, and it remains so to a certain degree. Hot water helped a bit in the morning. The soreness might be because of the low fluid intake, or detoxing (I wasn't able to get to a sauna on Saturday, Sunday or Monday as planned, now I'll just have to wait another two days for my own reserved sauna turn).
I've been quite tired for the last couple of days, and I also seem to get physically (rarely mentally) tired easier than when I'm on solids, so I've just rested where I can. No need to push any harder. I haven't had any cravings, only occasional thoughts on food which have dissolved just as quickly as they appeared. Even when my whole three-member family was sitting on my sofa eating ice cream, I only grabbed a mugful of fruit juice, and couldn't be bothered to get annoyed.
I'm still absent-minded at times and keep forgetting things, but I'm not too fussed, I'm sure it'll pass. Meanwhile I'll just keep lists on everything I need to remember.
My face is skinnier, I think, and my tummy might be a bit more, too. No big changes, though. My skin hasn't really gone any worse. I'm still expecting more detox symptoms within a week.
Nothing more to say today, I might post a bit more comprehensively tomorrow, if there's more notes I remember. Now I'll just leave work a bit early, and ride my bike home from my friend's - it's a nice (but chilly) 7 kilometer ride, or thereabouts. Hope I'll still have energy to arrange stuff in my flat after that. Otherwise I'll just sleep.

Oh, I had to add - I find stretching such bliss! When I wake up I'm usually too tired and stiff and not up to it, but around 9am, having walked and then heated myself up by the radiator a bit I occasionally get a spontanious urge to stretch long and hard, in every possible way. It feels surprisingly pleasurable and energising, I've heard a 15-minute stretch every morning would do one mighty good!
----------
And another addition - I'm out of money again. Do not follow my lead, make sure you're financially prepared. I have to borrow from my dad until the 30th, which is not nice. But then I've got a whole two weeks' salary in my disposal, since June's rent is paid in advance. Yay. But not much home juicing for me, unfortunately, since the money will go towards me being able to get to work, and two distant cities for uni entry exams. Boohoo. Well, next month.
