Your Enchanted Gardener,
the "Brains' behind Leslie Goldman,
poet and visionary, and Friend of the Farm,
will go visit Professor Phineas Pennypickle
at the Children's Museum of Temecula,
an "Oscar' Calibre kid fun zone
that sparks the imagination.

All this is part of Professor Pennypickle's
Go Organic Day,
a special event at the Imagination Workshop
Temecul Children's Museum=
The event runs from 10 AM -5PM.
The address is
42081 Main Street, Old Town Temecula, CA 92590

For more details about the day and admission
Go here:

IF YOU HAVE NOT MET PROFESSOR PENNYPICKLE,
that is because he spends a lot of time alone is his laboratory
creating inventions, but what he creates is all over
the Children's museum!

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN
PROFESSOR PENNYPICKLE & YOUR ENCHANTED GARDENER
GOES WAY BACK!

"Phineas and I have been friends
over eons," Your Enchanted Gardener.
We have had numbers of collaborations
through History. The Professor was actually
on my advisory team for the new nifty
Mini-Portable Enchanted Garden that Leslie
will be bringing out for the Kids April 19."

"One Kid + One Plant in a Pot Growing ='s
You're a Gardener!" says Your Enchanted Gardener.
"Leslie's friends at the Organic Center and O'mama
Report would like to see all Kids and their Moms and Dad's
eating 10 % Organic by 2010. That will take a lot of
kids growing beets, other plants and making sure
that all the local organic farmers of San Diego
are happy. Many Farmers right now don't have enough
water to grow all the food they would like."

WILL YOU JOIN A CSA NOW SO OUR LOCAL
ORGANIC FARMERS CAN COUNT ON YOU?

" Joe the Farmer, Leslie's friend, and all the
other San Diego local organic farmers really need our support,"
said Your Enchanted Gardener. We need every kid
to grow a BEET. We need every mom and dad to join
one of the fabulous CSA's."

CSA means Community Supported Agriculture.
Mom's and Dads and Sons and Daughters join
CSA's so our local organic farmers can count on
the food they grow going into someone's tummy
rather than back to compost or the family farm cow.
Joining a CSA means buying a share of the food
before it is grown.

Inland Empire CSA would like 40 new members
by the end of May. J.R. Organic CSA would like 50.

Both the Inland Empire CSA and the J.R. Organic
CSA with food grown by Joe Rodriguez Jr. will have
their flyers at Professor Pennypickle's Go Organic this Saturday.

You can join online:

The seeds are called Job's Tears in English,
but everybody all around the world has a different
name for them," said Your Enchanted Gardener.

These are Dream Come True Seeds, said Your Enchanted
Gardener, but before a Dream can come true, we have
to plant it and grow it.

"Plants teach us how are dreams
grow naturally," said Leslie.

"I have planted these bead seeds every place, on almost every continent!
That's how they got there, all over the place,
but I did not plant them in Temecula! until today," said Your Enchanted Gardener.

That is why this is such a Very Special Go Organic Day!

Every Kid who Promises to KEEP THE "BEET" or grow
another plant in a pot gets their Very Own
Grow a Necklace Seeds.

Leslie will be at the Children's Museum with
The Enchanted Garden Mobile, his 68 VW Love Van
that runs on Love and some Gasoline.

"Did you know that Love makes the world go round?"
asks Leslie.

MORE ABOUT THE GO ORGANIC DAY
at the CHILDREN's MUSEUM IN TEMECULA:

Saturday, April 19, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Moms! Are you concerned that your family is not eating as healthy as you'd like? Do your kids even know what a fresh vegetable is? (French fries don't count.) Have you longed to enjoy the simple pleasures of country life and the deliciousness of food straight from the farm?

Be sure to join us for this fascinating way for children and their parents to gain an understanding of where their food comes from, the benefits of making good dietary choices, and a taste of the wonders of nature.

Pennypickle’s Go Organic Day is designed to help families discover - in a fun and hands-on manner - the science and philosophy behind organic and natural foods and other products; to learn about Community Supported Agriculture and the Slow Food movement; and to gain knowledge on how families can help to keep not only their bodies healthy, but to keep the earth healthy as well.

There will be LOTS of fun things to do and discover and we can't even list them all because there's so much!

It'll feel like a farm around here, with animals and bees and planting seeds. There'll be praying mantises and lots and lots of ladybugs (these are all the GOOD bugs, remember???). You'll get to try yummy samples or take home a bag you can use over and over for groceries and stuff. You'll see how a typical kid's lunchbox meal can be soooo much healthier - and taste good, too!

We are pleased that Rick Sanger, author of the children's book "No Eat Not Food" will be signing copies of his book all day, and entertainer Joel Reese will be performing in the afternoon.

Entrance passes will be available for $5 per person - each pass will allow you to choose 5 activities or samples. (Admission to the Professor's workshop will be considered one activity.) Sorry, but children under 3 are considered too young for many of the Go Organic Day activities and will not be given product samples.

Session times for museum entrance will begin every hour and will last 45 minutes (example: 10 a.m. to 10:45; 11 a.m. to 11:45, etc.) There will be a limited number of guests allowed inside the museum at every session. You may purchase your entrance passes online if you prefer to reserve a particular session time. Your passes will be held for you at the will-call table.

Be sure to tell us which session you would like to attend.
