Osama Bin Laden News from the Enchanted Garden

Osama Bin Laden News from the Enchanted Garden.
The theme of Osama Bin Laden and how we approach killing off
the enemy is in my thoughts this morning as I relish from
taking time to clear a very adversarial space in my office
that was beating me down. I am looking ahead to a healing
gathering, The Hole In the Porch, this Sunday May 8, Mother's Day
for Mother Earth. Having ten people here, who I like and want
who want to build community, would satisfy my highest aspirations
for the time.

TODAY'S MORNING INSPIRATION
May 5, 2011

I am among those who believe that an eye for an eye
leaves us all blind.

I am among those who believe that through acts
of collaboration, even acts such as that will happen
this weekend at the Enchanted Garden near SDSU,
we can bring more peace to our world.

We are all stumbling in the dark.

We all have a tendency to want to lash out
at times, to criticize what we see, and ask
why do I have to deal with this mess that someone
else made? Why were they not more conscious?
Why did this problem happen in the first place?

Conversations like that do not get us to far in the world
where we Osama Bin Laden is now dead, and we
as a rule want to kill off our enemies when it is
the adversary within that generally the source
of the issue.

There will always be another Osama Bin Laden,
and there will always be dreamers who imagine
that the world can be a more beautiful place.

SEEKING SUPPORT

I want to admit I am still very much susceptable to
criticism. Yesterday, was one of the most important
days of my life in recent years.

I spend the entire day clearing some cobwebs in one small
part of my room, vacuuming, and using some some Jonathan Shaloki's very
special peppermint oil to refresh an Altar
that I have not had the time to clear in more than four years.
I entire room is like a morgue of stuff things.
I have been too busy outside, too busy elsewhere,
too busy taking on the impossible, rather than dealing
with the impossible task that is now somewhat improved
as of last night right here, right now, right at home,
right in my own space.

The Altar, to the west of my office and adjoining bedroom
was filled with seeds of seed dreams, some that still had
energy, many that had died long ago.

My inspiriation yesterday morning was to reseed.
I gathered numbers of the seeds that were intermixed
with other seeds and dust on the altar. I went to our compost pile,
containing some of the most loved risen earth in our neighborhood.
I gathered a pot full.

I cleared the entire shelf where the new living Altar is now
stationed.

I placed the one pot, growing in a reused yellow
miso pot from my friends at Goldmine Natural Foods,
and placed it on the new living Altar.

Now I have a place for prayer and intention and grounding
my own visions. I can take a stand
where before I was seeding frustration and
feeling things were impossible every time I looked
in that direction.

ISN"T THAT WHAT A MESS MEANS?

So how do we outgrow the Osama Bin Laden's
of the world?

How do we have more Beet Keepers, folks
who what to see more beauty in the world and slow down
enough to clear space in their immediate environment
that needs clearing?

Do you get that it can make a difference?
It is making a different for me this morning.

I AM WAKING UP

Oh my God!
What will it be like if I reseed myself????
I mean really reseed myself???

I would like a few new people who appreciated
the many hours I did on the Cultivating Food Justice Event
to be here for our Hole in the Porch gathering.

Maybe I have already been fulfilled in my Seed Dream.

Malaki came over yesterday!!!!!
He brought the kids, Padwa and Mada!!!

I held Padwa while he was talking to
Chef Jem in the Kitchen and looking at the porch
we will fix.

WHAT IF FIXING THIS PORCH COULD
SHIFT OUR ENTIRE WORLD????

What if fixing the porch could fix our entire world?
Brian Everette and Malaki Obado begin the project
to fix our porch early Saturday morning.

We will have an array of good food on hand throughout the week,
and an upbeat atmosphere as we look at possible improvements
here on the property.

I am thinking in terms of identifying what needs fixes and improvements
on this most blessed land that has had major investment of
improvements recently and trees going in the ground.

MORE PHOTOS SOON...
What if the very act of a number of us giving good thoughts
to Brian and Malaki could make a difference.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO EAT, SANDA
AND BRIAN?

Sanda and Brian from the San Mateo Eco-Village Community
will be here.

LIST OF THINGS WE NEED FIXING

I want the weekend to have stages.

One will be making a list of all the things we see
that need fixing.

SHORT FUNDS

I am short funds.
Yesterday I borrowed money from my LMR account
to get the mortgage in the bank without stressing.

I know it will take a few days for everyone to get
their money in. I did not want to stress.

We are still running on a monthly deficit now,
every month. I am out of reserves.
I am paying out more expenses each month now
than income.

BRING SMILE AND YOUTH ONT THE HORIZON!!!

Yes, On Tuesday, Summer Nash came over.

Wow!!! She is filled with enthusiasm and excitement
about moving in May 20. She will start moving things
over on the 19th, or survey the room to see what it needs...
