I came to the NPEW with baby organic alfalfa growing in little BioSmart compostable pots. I came in behalf of Mother Earth to remind us that we need to stand up now for Nature's Original Technology. Now is the time for Organic Uprising!
This is a Seed Dream Video I made today with Shakti Sara Popovich of a plan to begin garden activities the last Sunday of each month. Summer Nash, a new housemate was also in on this idea to be developed. I would like to have sponsors for our activity here at the house, aiming to provide a gathering place for residents and SDSU community. Summer, who moves in in late May loves to garden and cook natural foods. I would like to feature the products
of companies I admire in our kitchen and influence key students at SDSU.

Yesterday was the one week anniversary of 3/11/11,
the wake up call we had from Japan.
Tonight, later tonight, I will participate in Persephone Rising,
a Spring Equinox gathering with youth
in downtown San Diego.
On a looking out the window now.
I see a bright full moon.
The next full moon like this, will be Passover,
the time when we let the Angel know, by our actions,
if she should come into our homes to take away our first born,
or our first born should be protected
so that they, and the earth, might continue to live.
I once lived with a man named Dr. Bernard Jensen (1907-2001)
He took me in right after college.
That was more than 40 years ago.
He gave me a place to live in nature.
He called himself a nature boy.
He was, and spiritually still is my teacher.
He led me, and reminded me of the things I needed to know.
WHAT IS THE MESSAGE OF 3/11?
Many of us remember the message of 9/11.
What is the message of 3/11?
It is time to put two and two together in this moment.
We deeply need a Moment of Awakening.
We deeply need to sit down together,
look at what is in front of our faces,
and decide if we want to live on this blessed earth.
Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, called the Professor,
was a friend of Dr. Bernard Jensen.
They traveled together.
Once they went to visit archeological finds in Mexico.
The tiny airplane almost crashed a number of times.
Dr. Jensen and Szekely were both in that little plane
with a simple pilot.
The pilot turned to the two men and said,
"A man who is suppose to drown will never die in
a plane crash!"
There is wisdom in what he said.
How are we intended to live on this earth?
What is Mother Earth Asking of us?
What is Mother Earth Asking of each of us now
that she, and we, might have a Rebirth?
Clearly, the message of 3/11 is that we are making
some serious mistakes.
We no longer know the Technology of this place
called earth.
We no longer know how to live here.
WE NEED PLACE WHERE WE CAN REMEMBER
HOW TO LIVE
I have personally done my best to hold a piece of land,
1/3 acre, near San Diego State Univesity.
I have been questioning as many of us today
if this land, and our earth, would continue
to support each of us the way we are living.
I was feeling up against a wall so many days this past winter
that there were times I thought I would never make it
to this moment when I am gazing out my window
and seeing this full moon.
I DO NOT LIKE HOW I AM LIVING
I do not like, to tell the truth, how I am living now.
It it were not for a pill called StayActiv, a relatively natural
anti-inflammatory, or eating a whole lot of pasture fed lamb,
or taking FES, Flower Essences to summon my soul,
I am not sure I would have made it to this moment.
IF it were not for you,
listening to me now, giving me a sense that there
is someone out there hearing me,
loving me, caring for me, appreciating something
I am doing, I am not sure I would be here
as healed as I feel now.
Right now it is critical to realize,
we cannot continue forward, individually,
or as nations,
if we want to live on this earth.
Truly the earth has a technology that is perfect.
It is called Nature's Original Technology.
It is the technology of the sun, the wind, the air, the soil
working in harmony together to provide soul growth.
THE MESSAGE OF 3/11?
One week ago, I was in a room with more than 500 natural
product industry leaders. I was in the room with the same
men who have been reviled, in my opinion unjustly,
for caving in to Monsanto.
I do not believe as we approach the Spring Equinox
that most of the people who work for Monsanto know
they are harming Nature's Original Technology.
The earth lives by wonderous rules,
Dr. Bernard Jensen and the Professor know many of
these rules. I learned a few from them.
What happened in Japan was not merely an act of God.
It was a act of Nature working hand in hand with the
Soul in us.
The earth and the soul are soilmates.
The message of 3/11 to me was that we have gone
as far out as we can go if we still want to survive this day,
and thrive on this earth that I have called the Enchanted Garden.
If enough of us stand up as full growing organic seeds,
if we rise up now, 1000 years from now we will look back on this moment
in time and say we did the right thing by ourselves
and our mother earth.
AMONG US ARE COMPANIES WHO WANT TO DO THE RIGHT THING
I know there are companies led by heartfelt people
who want to do the right thing.
I was among them on 3/11.
I am writing about them here on this Plant Your Dream Blog.
I will show you their faces.
I will show you images I took of them.
I came to the Natural Product Expo West where they gathered
feeling depleted. I knew if I got up there I would receive
healing and their good will.
I did.
Now it is Spring 2011 as I write this.
We are being asked personally,
each of us to be part of an Organic Uprising!
The message of Japan?
it is the same message told by little organic
alfalfa seeds growing in compostable white containers.
We are being asked to graduate from our terrible two's
where we are still kids saying No to what is not working.
Saying No to GMO's,
Saying No to Nuclear Power,
is a Yes; but there is a bigger Yes.
The bigger Yes is that we have to stand up in the moonlight
outside my window now to feel and know we are part of this
moonlight, as well as sunshine.

Last night I was with a Kenyan man named Malaki Obado.
His wife was holding a perfect little baby who I never heard cry once.
Amy, holding her baby, was the woman who led Michelle Obama through
the New Roots Garden April 15 of last year.
Both Amy and Malaki will be with me in a couple of weeks
when we do a Speak Out on the theme of Cultivating Food Justice,
in CIty Heights where people will be gathering.
I will be asking the question:
What can we say Yes to now?
What can we do now to make sure than 1000 years from
now we made the right decision to turn our beat around
with nature?

It is essential to say No to GMO now; however, we have to say Yes to Nature's Original Technology.
We are called now to do what we have done as a species since the beginning, be and live organically.
