Coffins
What have I to show? This is going to be an eventful afternoon and evening.
Tomorrow as well. I will be spending time with Gary and Peter, former
Co-partners with HCI, Health Communications Inc. They started
the run of CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUP TOGETHER.

I gentle knock on the door
around 9:30 AM reminds me
I have scheduled a meeting with Chef Jem and Scott.
We begin with each of us Checking In.
We meet down at the Boxes,
the Boxes where I worked Wednesday and Thursday
with Scorpio.
I left things in disarray at the end of the day,
just sort of covered things with Rhimax sheets
of Durable Recycled Organic Thick Paper.
Yesterday was a wash.
I spend the morning doing some Bills
and Working a Bit with Quicken Reports.
I was sad to see that some of the three days of tedious
Labor I did last week did not hold as far as
the Internet/Cable/Water Filter Report that
I had made. I could not apply that work to
paying the latest Bill as far as generating the
Report exactly as I wanted. Too much to explain why.
I am very weary now.
I spent a couple hours down there
putting things in Order. I will not be putting
in more time down there until Monday.
J.M. was kind of enough to stand by me
for at least 30 minutes after our meeting.
I loaded things that I paid to organize
into new Plastic Containers. I paid out about
$70.00 from the Container Store.
I also paid out a really good amount of money to
Scorpio for helping me organize.
Today, after absense from the stop for 24 hours,
and in light of today's afternoon activities
likely down at the Slow Foods Stagecoach Days
as well as Del Mar Party with Gary Seidler
I found myself tossing out a number of things
that I would not have discarded the other day.
I am speechless.
Have you any idea of the high cost of keeping things
when you factor in plastic containers and help organizing?
That is just the tip of the iceberg.
At one point, I just sat down, succumbing
to non-activity.
All my boxes and relics from the 60's, 70's, and 80's--
and there are a lot more in that section of the Basement--
are out here under a shady spot near the Healing Area.
I can hear Olives falling and hitting the tables and
plastic boxes. My first task was wiping off thick trails
of ants that just have come in to help disburse the
energy.
This is too much. Way too much.
The Boxes, even in the new Plastic,
remind me of Coffins.
Tonight I will be with Gary Seidler,
former Co-partner with Peter Vegso of
Health Communications Inc.
They started the run on the CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUP
printings together.
Tomorrow Peter has a horse running in a race at the Del Mar Racetrack.
What a live energy.
I am sure this is going to be a powerful day of Revelation.
These are men who are living in the present.
Where is the new book, they will ask?
What have I to show?
I will bring KEEP the BEET.
I better rest and go deep.
I want to come up with something.
