Debra St. Claire, founder of Econaturalsolutions has a heartsong to
preserve indigenous Medicine awareness. It was joyous seeing my old friend
at the recent Natural Product Expo West. She will be a speaker at the upcoming
Centennial Celebration in honor of Dr. Bernard Jensen, June 6,7,8.
The beet plant in the foreground reminded Debra of our days with
Edmond Bordeaux Szekely. In his ECOLOGICAL HEALTH GARDEN BOOK
he recommends doing container gardening.

Container Gardening is the at the core of The Nation of Gardeners
Enchnanted Garden Project. One person-one Plant-One Pot, that's
all I ask!, says Your Enchanted Gardener.

A delight of the recent Natural Product Expo West
was spending time with old friend Debra St. Claire.

We go back to the Essene Seminar of 1977.

In 1979, she was active in the Essene School of Thought
Project where we retrieved info on the Essenes.

Deba was an editor of books for Dr. Bernard Jensen.
She worked on the BOWEL MANAGEMENT for BETTER HEALTH BOOK
and numbers of others.

She is the creator of St. Claire's Organic candies
that are found in many health food stores.

Tummy Soothers was one that Debra sent my way
at the recent event.

Her Econatural Solutions Company in Boulder, Colorado
sponsors the EthnozMedicine
Preservation Project:

Debra will be a speaker at the upcoming
Bernard Jensen Centennial in San Diego
June 6,7,8;

She will speak on
The Roots of Nutrition---
Dr. Jensen's Model of Sustaining Health

More on this to come...

EthnoMedicine
Preservation Project

The driving force behind EcoNatural Solutions, 10% of all profits go directly to the nonprofit to aid its efforts to preserve herbal knowledge!

The purpose of the EthnoMedicine Preservation Project (EMPP) is to preserve the medicinal plant knowledge of indigenous cultures through documentation, exchange of information and preservation of habitat for future generations.

Project Description:

Indigenous peoples represent living libraries of medicinal plant knowledge that are being lost as they merge with modern society. Each culture contains a unique system of medicine with different degrees of emphasis on the mental, physical and spiritual aspects of healing. These cultures have traditionally depended on the living transmission of these techniques from master to apprentice. The young people who would normally continue this living link as apprentices to the 'medicine people' of these cultures have been abandoning the often primitive environments of their ancestors in pursuit of a 'better' life, leaving the elders with no one to teach. It is not enough to record this knowledge in books, because the vitality of the experience is only partially understood through words.

Three-Fold Plan Project Description:
The purpose of EMPP is to provide a way in which the living knowledge of these cultures is preserved. It consists of a three-fold plan for each culture:

1. The creation of a botanical preserve in an area that contains the greatest variety of medicinal plant species.

2. The video graphic and physical documentation of the medicinal plants used: their habitat, harvesting techniques, preservation and storage, preparation as medicines and therapeutic application. This will provide a way for the culture to re-seed this knowledge into itself when it loses its healers.

3. The creation of a traditional healing clinic which preserves the ancient healing techniques in living form.

What is the EthnoMedicine Preservation Project (EMPP)?

EMPP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the medicinal traditions of indigenous peoples around the world. Each culture contains a unique system of medicine with differing degrees of emphasis on the mental, physical and spiritual aspects of healing. The purpose of EMPP is to provide a way in which the living knowledge of these cultures is preserved. It consists of a three-fold plan for each culture.

To raise money to accomplish the above projects, we have assembled a collection of products that you can buy to help support the project. Each product donates 10% or more of its profits to the EthnoMedicine Preservation Project!

The EMPP is a collection of individuals and companies who are all interested in the EthnoMedicine Preservation Project (EMPP), and have chosen to sell their products in the EcoNatural Solutions store donating at least 10% of profits sold off of the EthnoMedicine Market to support the EMPP nonprofit.

We offer a collection of herbal books and remedies, gluten-free items, allergen-free organic candy, and traditional Peruvian music. If you would like more information about the EthnoMedicine Preservation Project, feel free to contact us!
